“Support MH17 Truth”; OSCE monitors identify “shrapnel and machine-like bullet holes” indicating shelling; no evidence of missile attack

By Prof Michel Chossudovsky

Global Research 31 July 2014

This article was first published by GR on September 9, 2014. In the context of the July 29, 2015 United Nations Security Council Resolution vetoed by Russia, it should be emphasized that the evidence confirms that MH17 was not brought down by a surface to air missile.

The West accuses Russia and the Donbass separatists of having brought down the plane with a Buk missile. IT’S A LIE.

The evidence available in September 2014 –including a BBC report which the BBC decided to suppress– refutes the official story. The alleged role of Russia in bringing down the plane was used as a justification to implement the economic sanctions regime against Moscow.

Michel Chossudovsky, July 29, 2015

*     *     *

According to the report of German pilot and airlines expert Peter Haisenko, the MH17 Boeing 777 was not brought down by a missile.

What he observed from the available photos were perforations of the cockpit:

The facts speak clear and loud and are beyond the realm of speculation: The cockpit shows traces of shelling! You can see the entry and exit holes. The edge of a portion of the holes is bent inwards. These are the smaller holes, round and clean, showing the entry points most likely that of a 30 millimeter caliber projectile. (Revelations of German Pilot: Shocking Analysis of the “Shooting Down” of Malaysian MH17. “Aircraft Was Not Hit by a Missile” Global Research, July 30, 2014)

Based on detailed analysis Peter Haisenko reached  the conclusion that the MH17 was not downed by a missile attack:

This aircraft was not hit by a missile in the central portion. The destruction is limited to the cockpit area. Now you have to factor in that this part is constructed of specially reinforced material

The OSCE Mission

It is worth noting that the initial statements by OSCE observers (July 31) broadly confirm the findings of Peter Haisenko:

Monitors from the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe reported that shrapnel-like holes were found in two separate pieces of the fuselage of the ill-fated Malaysia Airlines aircraft that was believed to have been downed by a missile in eastern Ukraine.

Michael Bociurkiw of the OSCE group of monitors at his daily briefing described part of the plane’s fuselage dotted with “shrapnel-like, almost machine gun-like holes.” He said the damage was inspected by Malaysian aviation-security officials .(Wall Street Journal, July 31, 2014)

The monitoring OSCE team has not found evidence of a missile fired from the ground as conveyed by official White House statements. As we recall, the US ambassador to the UN Samantha Power stated –pointing a finger at Russia– that the Malaysian MH17 plane was “likely downed by a surface-to-air missile operated from a separatist-held location”:

The team of international investigators with the Organisation for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) are uncertain if the missile used was fired from the ground as US military experts have previously suggested, the Wall Street Journal (WSJ) reported. (Malay Mail online, emphasis added)

The initial OSCE findings tend to dispel the claim that a BUK missile system brought down the plane.

Evidently, inasmuch as the perforations are attributable to shelling, a shelling operation conducted from the ground could not have brought down an aircraft traveling above 30,000 feet.

Ukraine Su-25 military aircraft within proximity of MH17

Peter Haisenko’s study is corroborated by the Russian Ministry of Defense which pointed to a Ukrainian Su-25 jet in the flight corridor of the MH17, within proximity of the plane.

Ironically, the presence of a military aircraft is also confirmed by a BBC  report conducted at the crash site on July 23.

All the eyewitnesses  interviewed by the BBC confirmed the presence of a Ukrainian military aircraft flying within proximity of Malaysian Airlines MH17 at the time that it was shot down:

Eyewitness #1: There were two explosions in the air. And this is how it broke apart. And [the fragments] blew apart like this, to the sides. And when …

Eyewitness #2: … And there was another aircraft, a military one, beside it. Everybody saw it.

Eyewitness #1: Yes, yes. It was flying under it, because it could be seen. It was proceeding underneath, below the civilian one.

Eyewitness #3: There were sounds of an explosion. But they were in the sky. They came from the sky. Then this plane made a sharp turn-around like this. It changed its trajectory and headed in that direction [indicating the direction with her hands].

BBC Report below

The original BBC Video Report published by BBC Russian Service on July 23, 2014 has since been removed from the BBC archive.

In a bitter irony, The BBC is censoring its own news productions.

This is the BBC Report, still available on Youtube

Media Spin

The media has reported that a surface to air missile was indeed fired and exploded before reaching its target.  It was not the missile that brought down the plane, it was the shrapnel resulting from the missile explosion (prior to reaching the plane) which punctured the plane and then led to a loss of pressure.

According to Ukraine’s National security spokesman Andriy Lysenko in a contradictory statement, the MH17 aircraft “suffered massive explosive decompression after being hit by a shrapnel missile.”  (See IBT, Australia)

In an utterly absurd report, the BBC quoting the official Ukraine statement  says that:

The downed Malaysia Airlines jet in eastern Ukraine suffered an explosive loss of pressure after it was punctured by shrapnel from a missile.

They say the information came from the plane’s flight data recorders, which are being analysed by British experts.

However, it remains unclear who fired a missile, with pro-Russia rebels and Ukraine blaming each other.

Many of the 298 people killed on board flight MH17 were from the Netherlands.

Dutch investigators leading the inquiry into the crash have refused to comment on the Ukrainian claims.

“Machine Gun Like Holes”

The shrapnel marks should be distinguished from the small entry and exit holes “most likely that of a 30 millimeter caliber projectile” fired from a military aircraft. These holes could not have been caused by a missile explosion as hinted by the MSM.

While the MSN is saying that the “shrapnel like holes” can be caused by a missile (see BBC report above), the OSCE has confirmed the existence of what it describes as “machine gun like holes”, without however acknowledging that these cannot be caused by a missile.

In this regard, the GSh-302 firing gun operated by an Su-25 is able to fire 3000 rpm which explains the numerous entry and exit holes.

According to the findings of Peter Haisenko:

If we now consider the armament of a typical SU 25 we learn this: It is equipped with a double-barreled 30-mm gun, type GSh-302 / AO-17A, equipped with: a 250 round magazine of anti-tank incendiary shells and splinter-explosive shells (dum-dum), arranged in alternating order. The cockpit of the MH 017 has evidently been fired at from both sides: the entry and exit holes are found on the same fragment of it’s cockpit segment (op cit)

The accusations directed against Russia including the sanctions regime imposed by Washington are based on a lie.

The evidence does not support the official US narrative to the effect that the MH17 was shot down by a BUK missile system operated by the DPR militia.

What next? More media disinformation, more lies?

“Operation Enduring Freedom-Philippines”: the U.S. aids and abets war crimes in the Philippines

The jury in the tribunal found defendant Aquino and defendant Government of the United States of America, represented by Obama guilty of war crimes and crimes against humanity.
Global Research, July 23, 2015
truthdig 22 July 2015

After Sept. 11, 2001, President George W. Bush declared the Philippines a second front in the war on terror (“Operation Enduring Freedom-Philippines”). The Philippine government used this as an opportunity to escalate its war against Muslim separatists and other individuals and organizations opposing the policies of the government. The egregious human rights violations committed by the Philippine military and paramilitary forces are some of the most underreported atrocities in the media today.

The International Peoples’ Tribunal on Crimes Against the Filipino People, held July 16-18 in Washington, D.C., drew upward of 300 people. An international panel of seven jurors heard two days of testimony from 32 witnesses, many of whom had been tortured, arbitrarily detained and forcibly evicted from their land. Some testified to being present when their loved ones, including children, were gunned down by the Philippine military or paramilitary. I testified as an expert witness on international human rights violations in the Philippines, many of which were aided and abetted by the U.S. government.

Thirty-one-year-old Melissa Roxas was a community health adviser who went to the Philippines in 2009 to conduct health surveys in central Luzon, where people were dying from cholera and diarrhea. In May of that year, 15 men in civilian clothes with high-powered rifles and wearing bonnets and ski masks forced her into a van and handcuffed and blindfolded her. They beat her, suffocated her and used other forms of torture on her until releasing her six days later. Roxas was continually interrogated and even threatened with death during her horrific torture. She was likely released because she is a U.S. citizen (she has dual citizenship).

But WikiLeaks revealed that although the U.S. Embassy was aware of Roxas’ torture and abduction, it did nothing to secure her release. Roxas convinced the Philippines Court of Appeals to grant her petition for writ of amparo, which confirmed she had been abducted and tortured. Nevertheless, the Philippine government refuses to mount an investigation into her ordeal. And although she lives in the United States, Roxas remains under surveillance.

“Whenever you work with communities,” Roxas testified, “[the Philippine government] vilifies you as a member of the New Peoples Army [NPA].” Ironically, the Philippine military claimed it was the NPA, the armed wing of the Philippine Communist Party, that abducted Roxas. Her physical and emotional scars remain. But, Roxas told the tribunal, “I have the privilege of being in the United States,” unlike many other Filipino victims of human rights violations.

People and groups have been labeled “terrorists” by the Philippine government, the U.S. government and other countries at the behest of the U.S. government. The Philippine government engages in “red tagging”—political vilification. Targets are frequently human rights activists and advocates, political opponents, community organizers or groups struggling for national liberation. Those targeted for assassination are placed on the “order of battle” list.

The tribunal documented 262 cases of extrajudicial killings, 27 cases of forced disappearances, 125 cases of torture, 1,016 cases of illegal arrest, and 60,155 incidents of forced evacuation—many to make way for extraction by mining companies—from July 2010 to June 30 of this year by Philippine police, military, paramilitary or other state agents operating within the chain of command.

As part of the U.S. war on terror, in 2002 the Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo government created the Oplan Bantay Laya, a counterinsurgency program modeled on U.S. strategies, ostensibly to fight communist guerrillas. After 9/11, the Bush administration gave Arroyo $100 million to fund the campaign in the Philippines.

The government of Benigno Aquino III continued the program in 2011 under the name Oplan Bayanihan. It does not distinguish between civilians and combatants,  which is considered a war crime under the Rome Statute and the Geneva Conventions.

Oplan Bayanihan has led to tremendous repression, including large numbers of extrajudicial killings, forced disappearances, torture and cruel treatment. Many civilians, including children, have been killed. Hundreds of members of progressive organizations were murdered by Philippine military and paramilitary death squads. Communities and leaders opposed to large-scale and invasive mining have been targeted. Even ordinary people with no political affiliation have not escaped the government’s campaign of terror.

Evidence of Western support for ISIS continues – Turkish president’s daughter leads covert medical corps to help wounded ISIS members

By Global Research News
Global Research, July 17, 2015
AWD News 15 July 2015

A discontented nurse working clandestinely for a covert medical corps in Şanlıurfa—a city in south-eastern Turkey, close to the border with neighboring Syria— divulges information about the alleged role which Sümeyye Erdoğan plays in providing extended medical care for ISIS wounded militants transferred to Turkish hospitals.

Living in a dilapidated apartment in Istanbul’s outskirts along with her two children, a 34-year- old emaciated nurse who spoke on the condition of anonymity for fear of retribution, disclosed her seven-week agonizing ordeal of working in secret military hospital in Şanlıurfa, 150 km (93 miles) east of Gaziantep and 1,300 km (808 miles) southeast of Istanbul. “Almost every day several khaki Turkish military trucks were bringing scores of severely injured, shaggy ISIS rebels to our secret hospital and we had to prepare the operating rooms and help doctors in the following procedures.

I was given a generous salary of $ 7,500 but they were unaware of my religion. The fact is that I adhere to Alawite faith and since Erdoğan took the helm of the country the system shows utter contempt for Alawite minority – Alawite faith is an esoteric offshoot of Shia Islam,” Said the nurse, recoiling in horror from the thought of imminent persecution by Turkish much-vaunted secret police, known by its acronym MİT.

Since the eruption of al-Qaeda inspired rebellion in Syria aiming to topple the secular President Bashar al-Assad, the Turkish government spearheaded efforts to transfer all possible mercenaries as far as Chinese Turkestan to newly converted Wahhabis in Buenos Aires– Wahhabism adopts an extremist interpretation of Islam and is the official religion of Saudi Arabia –, albeit, the Turkish government always rejects all allegations concerning its mischievous role in Syria’s 4-year civil war.

Sümeyye Erdoğan

Turkish public opinion in the past three months became increasingly critical of President Erdoğan’s warlike policy in the volatile Middle-East and his popularity rate slumped to a record low of %15. Once praised of being a nationalist and secular politician, Erdoğan’s has been marred by his ever more pro-Jihad rhetoric. They had no confidence in Alawites, added the nurse weeping bitterly, no sooner did they become cognizant of my faith than the wave of intimidation began, for I knew many things as who was running the corps, I saw Sümeyye Erdoğan frequently at our headquarter in Şanlıurfa … I am indeed terrified , I rue the day I enrolled in that program.

A London-educated scion of wealthy family and the eldest daughter of totalitarian President Erdoğan, Sümeyye Erdoğan, more than once announced her intention to be dispatched to Mousl , Iraq’s once second-biggest city and Islamic State’s stronghold to do relief works as a volunteer which drew public ire and vast condemnation from Turkey’s opposition parties. Moreover, the Turkish opposition parties accuse the administration of Recep Tayyip Erdoğan of seeking diligently to hide the truth concerning numerous financial malfeasances Mr. Erdoğan son, Bilal Erdoğan, is involved.

Mr. Erdoğan who always sheds crocodile tears for the plight of Syrian trapped between the hammer of hunger and the anvil of ISIS’ extremism, conceals the fact that his own son, Bilal Erdoğan, is involved in lucrative business of smuggling the Iraqi and Syrian plundered oil. Bilal Erdoğan who owns several maritime companies, had allegedly signed contracts with European operating companies to carry Iraqi stolen oil to different Asian countries.

Turkish government unwittingly supports ISIS by buying Iraqi plundered oil which is being produced from the Iraqi sized oil wells. Bilal Erdoğan’s maritime companies own special wharfs in Beirut and Ceyhan ports transporting ISIS’ smuggled crude oil in Japan-bound oil tankers. The Turkish opposition parties also accuse the belicose President Erdoğan of desperately trying to whitewash inordinate number of scandals concerning Bilal’s involvement in transporting Iraqi oil and thus making ISIS the wealthiest global terrorist group. “President Erdoğan claims that according to international transportation conventions there is no legal infraction concerning Bilal’s illicit activities and his son is doing an ordinary business with the registered Japanese companies, but in fact Bilal Erdoğan is up to his necks in complicity with terrorism, but as long as his father holds office he will be immune from any judicial prosecution,” Gürsel Tekin ,a senior CHP party official said in Ankara on Tuesday.

The leading CHP official further underscored that Bilal Erdoğan’s maritime company, BMZ Ltd, is considered a family business and president Erdoğan’s close relatives hold shares in BMZ and they misused public funds and took illicit loans from Turkish banks. Weak, dependent, lugubrious though defiant; the Turkish nurse pleaded for Turkish judiciary help, imploring the last bastion of freedom, Turkish Army, to overthrow Erdoğan’s corrupt regime.

Médias-Presse-Info

by Emilie Defresne / on 21 juillet 2015

The shooting of Mukachevo (video) and the oligarch-nationalist war in Ukraine – continued

Disclaimer: I do not know how graphic this video is.

From Médias-Presse-Info

by Emilie Defresne / on 21 July 2015

Translation from original French

We informed you in a previous article, the war between the nationalists against the oligarchs in Ukraine, the “nationalist” being themselves in the pay of some oligarchs.

Here’s the video of the shooting that took place in Mukachevo on July 11, killing four people (two members of Pravy Sektor and two civilians) and thirteen wounded:

https://youtu.be/hexRskhproc

Petro Poroshenko, the President of Ukraine, encouraged by the United States, decided to do away with the Right Sector that brought him to power agitating the people on Maidan Square and fomenting the coup, but manifested in recent times some inclination to repeat the operation against him.

Following the shooting which opposed him to a band more or less mafia of a deputy of parliament in Kiev, Pravy Sektor (Right Sector) was first taken refuge in a traffic police post at the entrance to the city, before leaving in the hills of Transcarpathia region, go underground.

An anti-terrorist operation was launched to capture Saturday, July 18 in the morning. The mountain rang all weekend firefights from both sides. Dmitro Iaroch, their leader, refusing to surrender.

“As stated by our guys in the woods, no one will take our right to conduct our last fight, he wrote on July 18 on Facebook. Intended for law enforcement: “I ask all my brothers in arms of the Ukrainian Army, National Guard, Security Services, Ministry of Interior and the Customs Service to disobey this criminal government. ”

Lately, this pro-European nationalist party had felt betrayed. Its leader Dmitry Yarosh denounced Western pressure and requested to stop “worshiping the European Union, this colossus with feet of clay. “He also threatened the government to redo a new Maidan specifying that this time, Poroshenko and Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk, do not escape them, unlike former President Yanukovych who, for his part, had found refuge in Russia . It even seems that the events of Mukachevo were actually intended to bring a new kind of Orange Revolution.

And Pravy Sektor would not be what it is if it did not see behind this drama which it is confronted, the shadow of the Republic of Donetsk:

“Not that criminelless local organizations active in the region, but also the Ryazan commando detachment. Their leader confirmed that his men were present. According to preliminary data we have more information on illegal traffic, sports complex also used as a training base for fighters DNR “said Andrei Charaskine, the spokesman Pravy Sektor.

One wonders what the Donetsk fighters could well be so far from their base in the Ukrainian … But chaos, everything is possible.

Demonstrations took place in Kharkov and Lvov shouting “Revolution! Death to the criminal regime! The revolution has no end ”

It can be seen that tensions in Ukraine multiply and come from different sides at once. But Poroshenko who put in the new government of foreigners entirely devoted to US interests, bases his authority and force abroad. Besides the US organized military maneuvers bringing together several nationalities, which will take place soon in western Ukraine.

Pending the outcome of the confrontation, in Mukachevo a significant military presence demonstrates the commitment of the management team in power in Kiev. The National Guard, so fierce in the Donbass against insurgents, moves in Mukachevo in combat vehicles, while helicopters flew over the area. Transcarpathia took on the appearance of war by military means usually deployed against the Republics of Novorossiya. Kiev fierce regime calls these military operations against its opponents in the West as in the East, “anti-terrorist operations.”

This regulation has dramatically between the accomplices of Maidan, moves border neighbors of Western Ukraine, Mukachevo is situated 150 kilometers from the Hungarian border. In Transcarpathia lives especially 150,000 ethnic Hungarians. Budapest is closely following developments:

“If the Hungarians in Transcarpathia were persecuted and they were forced to flee, we would help and would welcome all” promised M.Lazar, the Hungarian Prime Minister. Budapest which is developing support programs for Hungarians in Ukraine is also strengthening its border. In this context, the eventual persecution of the Hungarian minority in Transcarpathia, we escape a little … But who is not persecuted in Ukraine? The complexity of the situation in the country becomes opaque by the day, and turns to a civil war that could be generalized.

For the record, the Dnieper battalion emanates from the political party Pravy Sektor. He was one of the fiercest among those battalions rampant (or raged) against the population of Donbass in the east of the country, where civil war continues.

This movement of neo-Nazi extreme right is closely linked to nationalist party Svoboda, member of the coalition which came to power in Ukraine after the coup of Maidan in February 2014, also called second Orange Revolution. In January and February 2014, Pravy Sektor activists had participated in the occupation of public buildings, the looting of police arsenals and violence against the security forces. They are then activated in suppressing the rebellion of the New Russia, in the south-east.

Dmitri Yarosh, their leader, is probably still under the influence of a research mandate of Russian General Prosecutor’s Office. In Parliament, he had a few ambitions to be elected for president in 2014.

The National Guard was sent to fight in Mukachevo has its origin as Pravy Sektor, of the coup of Maidan. It is within agitators of Maidan Square that it drew to form an initiative of the Rada. It is under control of the Ministry of Interior, is the political police of the regime. While Pravyi sektor is or was the private militia of the oligarch governor of Dniepopetrovsk region, which he was forced to resign some weeks ago following a standoff with the chocolate oligarch of Kiev: Poroshenko.

Médias-Presse-Info

by Emilie Defresne / on 24 juin 2015

On entend très clairement les manifestants crier: « US go home! »

Ukrainian army general, with other officers, defects to the Donetsk People’s Republic

This information will probably not be relayed by the official media because “they demonstrate that Ukraine of Poroshenko is torn from within.

Former Assistant Minister of Defence of Ukraine, “Major-General” (equivalent to a general of army corps in France) Aleksandr Kolomiyets, passed with arms and baggage to the side of the Novorussian resistance. Arms and baggage, or more accurately with other officers of the Ukrainian National Army.

“I am Alexander Kolomiyets, a major-general of the Ukrainian armed forces … My last position was adviser to the Ukrainian defense minister and senior defense analyst,” he said at the opening of the conference that he gave to Donetsk. He added: “I will work for the good of the People’s Republic of Donetsk. “. “Observe who is currently fighting; only voluntary National Guard. “” “Soon, there will be unrest in the army. They do not understand the orders given to them, to kill civilians. We will see that by fall, everything will change. “

Together General of the Army corps and officers around him came provide assistance to the armed forces of the Donetsk People’s Republic. The general is a leading rookie for the rebellion of Donbass, not only because he is a very senior officer knows the Kievan enemy within, but he also knows very well the military of the Donetsk region for having spent 19 years at the helm. This is also a very damaging loss for the Kiev junta.

Constant purges within the ranks of Ukrainian armies and security services, popular demonstrations against the US omnipresence, all this is beginning to weigh heavily on real Ukrainians who care about their country and their families.

The general and his friends do not go to the Novorusse side on a whim. Beforehand, they took care to put their families safe from Kievan reprisals. According to him, many of his fellow commanders seek to go over to the separatists, they would be about a hundred:

“The morale of the Ukrainian army is at its lowest, officers and generals are aware of the criminal nature of political power in place in Kiev and do not want to fight.”

Before him, the former head of customs at Lugansk, Oleg Tchermoussov, had also left his post to join the separatists. Lately Alexei and Yuri Miroshnichenko brothers attached to the Ukrainian Embassy in Paris (attached to the Foreign Intelligence of Ukraine), had joined the separatists because of their disagreement with the Kiev policy. And these are two more recruits of choice, from the heart of the enemy system, to strengthen the cause of the New Russia.

The two brothers decided to leave work in Paris and return home in Lugansk. They claim to be in total disagreement with the policies of the regime in Kiev. They joined with their own means Lugansk where they gave a press conference to explain the reasons for their actions:

“My brother and I have seen what was going on in Ukraine, the coming to power of some people. We decided to leave and who have nowhere to go we decided to come back home in Lugansk […] We have not been forced by anyone, we have made this decision voluntarily. We could reasonably continue to work for the regime that is in place in Ukraine. These are just traitors, fascists and agents in the pay of other nations, they lead the country to ruin. “.

We must be courageous in this climate of purges and reprisals in Kiev to protest against the Americans who invested the government with three key ministers:

This was done a few days ago the Ukrainians in Kiev. We hear very clearly protesters shout: “US go home! “

This does not prevent the US-oligarch Kiev regime massaging equipment and men on the front line of contact as shown by the map below, which takes stock of the positioning of troops this morning June 24, 2015. The troops of Kiev are in blue:

However soldiers are certainly not thrilled to have to face their former compatriots. They have in mind the aisles of graves of fighters that extend and multiply in cemeteries.

In recent hours, the front line has remained stable but the shelling continued on Donetsk, Gorlovka, Marinka and Shirokino particular. The intensity of the fighting northwest of Lugansk also increases.

The war in Ukraine is not yet complete, the system set up by the Americans is likely to collapse. That’s probably what they see coming as they do get wet too. The promised military equipment is still waiting, and Canadian trainers. But no doubt that the US authorities do not care about destroying a country, as long as they have wreaked havoc by dividing a little more of Europe, an amount of Europeans of Russia against Europeans of the Union. And we have not seen everything yet, they will not stop in such a bad way, because they are destabilizing the Balkans.
