Ceasefire breach: Intense firefights rage around Donetsk (VIDEO)

In the northern suburbs of Donetsk, the airport district, the Yasinovataya checkpoint, and Spartak village, powerful firefights have broken out. 
The UAF is firing at the positions of the DPR’s armed forces.
Starting at 20:00 on October 28th, nearly the whole city heard sounds of heavy artillery fire, mortar fire, and armored vehicles. 
In the Marinka and Trudovsky districts, since 22:00 mortars, grenade launchers, and heavy machine guns have thundered. 
The Yasinovataya blockpost of the DPR and surrounding residential areas have also been under heavy artillery fire since 22:00 from UAF positions in Avdeevka.
At 23:50, fighting in the direction of Avdeevka and the Yasinovataya block post was ongoing and heavy artillery fire was intense.
Firefights are also underway in the Elenovka (south of Donetsk) and Staromikhailovka (west) districts.

Today, on July 19th, parliamentary hearings on the topic of “Progress in realization of the Complex of measures on the implementation of the Minsk agreements, approved by Resolution 2202 (2015) on the 7384th UN Security Council meeting” took place in Donetsk. Correspondent of the official website of the Donetsk People’s Republic reported about this.
Head of DPR Alexander Zakharchenko took part in the event. In his speech he emphasized the importance of assistance of the international community in stopping the genocide of the people of Donbass, which was unleashed by the Kiev authorities.
“Today we are summing up the results of the signatures collected on the Petition concerning the nonfulfillment of the UN Resolution by Ukraine; more than 300,000 residents of DPR supported this appeal. We have shown the international community our willingness to implement the Minsk agreements and to end this conflict. Donbas residents said “no” to violence. We did not start the war, did not shell peaceful towns with aviation and artillery, we just wanted to live according to conscience and justice. Unfortunately, the Kiev government for almost 2 years of the Minsk process at all the costs was trying to sabotage the implementation of the complex of measures approved by the UN Security Council. By this petition we are one more time saying that here live not terrorists or separatists, but ordinary people who built their own state. We in any case will end the war and for sure will win because we should fight for the future,” the Head of Republic said.
Let us recall, on February 12, 2015, the complex of measures for the implementation of the Minsk agreements was initiated in Minsk, which was signed by the members of the Trilateral Contact Group – former ambassador of the OSCE, Heidi Tagliavini, the second President of Ukraine Leonid Kuchma, Russian Ambassador to Ukraine Mikhail Zurabov, as well as leaders of Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics Alexander Zakharchenko, and Igor Plotnitskiy. And on February 17th, the UN Security Council unanimously passed a resolution to approve the document. However, despite its commitments, Ukraine has continued to systematically bombard peaceful areas of the Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics.
In this regard, on June 1st, 2016, Head of DPR Alexander Zakharchenko announced the beginning of the collection of signatures for the Petition concerning the nonfulfillment of the UN Security Council Resolution by Ukraine. By this petition the people of Donbass initiated an appeal to the international organizations to stop the genocide of the residents of DPR and LPR by the Ukrainian authorities and to stop military operations in the country. At present, the appeal was supported by more than 326,000 citizens; the action of collecting signatures in Donbass is officially completed.

Donetsk People’s Republic: UAF might attempt May holiday offensive to encircle Donetsk

This is, of course, in complete violation of the Minsk Agreements, but did anyone seriously expect Ukraine or the U.S. or Europe to support then? Minsk was supported by France and Germany to allow the West to regroup, refortify, and refund their war, nothing more. The same thing they’ve done in Syria. “DPR Defense Ministry: Punitive forces may try to “encircle Donetsk from below” over May holidays”
Ukrainian war criminals might try to strike at Donetsk with three tank battalions over the May holidays. This was reported by General Major Denis Sinenkov who heads the operational command of the Armed Forces of the DPR. He stressed that an offensive might begin on the territories which are currently being de-mined. 
“We are preparing for various developments of the situation. Everyone is talking about the punishers’ preparation for aggressive operations and the intensification of the ‘ATO.’ [so-called Anti-Terrorist Operation] We believe that the main strike by the UAF will be at one area backed by three tank battalions. That is, a strike at the belly in order to encircle Donetsk from below,” Sinenkov said, also noting that attacks might happen in other districts – “in some places with less force, in some places as a distraction.” 
Sinenkov also stated that according to the republic’s intelligence services, the UAF is actively re-deploying and rotating the Nazi battalions on the front line of defense.

He stressed that the Ministry of Defense of the DPR “is aware of the location of tank battalions despite the fact the Ukrainian military command has attempted to hide them. We are ready to break their fist. The quicker the aggressor will go on an offensive, the sooner we will liberate our lands from this brown plague.”

International Red Cross distributed more than 50 tons of humanitarian aid in DPR last week

More than 50 tons of food and means of personal hygiene were distributed by the staff of the International Committee of the Red Cross in the territory of the self-proclaimed Donetsk People’s Republic for the last week, the representative of the ICRC reported.

From 15.02 till 19.02 5586 grocery and gross hygienic sets weighing 53 tons in total were distributed by the ICRC. The humanitarian aid was distributed in seven DPR localities.

DPR received from Russia 16,5 thousand tons of aid for Donetsk railway repair

The Russian Federation has transferred to railway workers of Donbass more than 16 thousand tons of humanitarian aid in 2015 – the DPR Minister of Transport Semyon Kuzmenko.

16,5 thousand tons of freights have been transferred already. Generally the humanitarian aid consists of materials for the Donetsk railway – glass, cement, bricks and a specific railway equipment which was destroyed as a result of military operations.

He specified that the help was provided in October.

Conflict in Donbass has gathered lots of international volunteers to different kind of tasks, which can happen everywhere in world, also in Donbass. SDP is building coordination and cooperation organization with international community for voluntary works for saving Donbass people. Most effective use of voluntary human resources is our target.

Notice: To join SDP missions all volunteers have to be minimum 18 years old.

Volunteers in Donbass

SDP can produce its own civilian missions and participate with its members in excisting ones. Volunteers can participate in DONi media works, SDP humanitarian programs, communal helping and depending from volunteers will and personal skills, basically participating in all sectors of communal life in Donbass is possible. All volunteer candidates will be contacted personally by SDP and DONi staff after sending us message below.

All tasks and actions made under SDP will be accepted by local authorities and performed by local laws and regulations. Foreign volunteers will not get salary from works, but expences from taking care of agreed responsibilities can be paid. Final deal from joining voluntary works in Donbass will be made when volunteer candidate arrives to Donetsk and after interview.

Volunteers in Donbass are responsible to take care and pay them selfs of personal traveling documents, passports and visas and pay when traveling to Donetsk City and back to their homes. Those who have possibility to stay longer periods in volunteer works (+1 month) can receive free housing and meals by SDP and DONi organization.

Volunteers abroad

SDP is launching different kind of voluntary working projects which can be done from all over the world. Tasks for SDP volunteers can include media campaigns, activist coordination, upkeeping information channels or organizing events. Our target is to grow ProDonbass movement!

By joining SDP voluntary missions in your own home country, you will be soon involved in growing international network, which tasks will be coordinated from Donetsk with local people.

Donetsk SitRep: DPR under heavy artillery fire – 24.2

‘The situation on the contact line remains tense’, said Vice-Commander of Donetsk Army Eduard Basurin on Wednesday. ‘In the shellings the enemy used heavy 122mm and 152mm artillery’, Basurin said.

The Ukrainian military violated the ceasefire thirty-three times and shelled the territory of the Republic a hundred and forty-eight times. In the shellings the enemy used 122mm and 152mm artillery three times, 120mm mortars twenty times, 82mm mortars a hundred and four times, as well as infantry fighting vehicles, grenade launchers and small arms.

The Ukrainian punitors fired from the localities of Pesky, Nevelskoye, Zhovanka and Opytnoye at the localities of Zaytsevo, Zhabichevo, Staromikhaylovka, the area of the airport, the Volvo Centre, the Kuybyshevsky and Petrovsky districts of the city of Donetsk. The shellings were carried out from the positions of the 14th and 93rd separate mechanised brigades under command of Zhakun and Klochkov.

The intelligence of the DPR Armed Forces keeps registering the concentration of the enemy’s weapons and military equipment near the contact line:

– In Krasnogorovka (3 km away from the contact line) there was registered the arrival of four 120mm motorised artillery systems “Nona-C”;
– In Dzerzhinsk (2 km away from the contact line) the was registered the transportation of four tanks;
– In Vesyolaya Dolina (12 km away from the contact line) there was registered the arrival of eleven infantry fighting vehicles.

Besides, according to the OSCE mission’s report, in the sites of the Ukrainian weapons and equipment storage the observers documented the absence of ten tanks.

The Ukrainian military and political authorities continue to carry out activities on the preparation for the offensive, which is indicated by the facts of transporting artillery and equipment to the contact line. Zhakun and Klochkov continue to compete on who will become a bloody hero of Ukraine, shelling civilians and residential areas. We can state as a fact that in the Kuibyshev district of Donetsk two civilians were wounded in the shellings. That’s how the “defenders of the Motherland” betray their moral foundations, maiming civilians.

 These criminal acts are the direct consequences of the actions of François Hollande. One tenth of parliamentarians either House may take the initiative for impeachment proceedings against François Hollande by filing a Motion for a resolution calling for a session of the High Court.

Sir, 
I appeal to the representative of the nation, in the name of Madame Anna Touve, a Ukrainian national, civilian residing in Donetsk, and in the name of a young woman, also a civilian, residing in Damascus (Syria), who, for understandable reasons, remains anonymous. On May 26, 2015 in Gorlovka (Donbass) Touve, Anna lost her husband and two of her children in the explosion of shells fired by the militias of the Kiev regime.

 Seriously injured, she lost her left arm. As for the young Syrian woman, she was assaulted in 2013, at her home, raped and tortured in the presence of her husband by so-called rebels against the Syrian regime.

 My two clients are the victims of a certain conception of international relations. In accordance with the principles of law, it is the senior military or political officials who must be punished, and by the State to which they belong.

 Regarding Donbass, François Hollande has supported and encouraged a de facto regime that took power illegally, by violence, in Kiev. And therefore he bludgeoned any attempt at liberation on the part of the eastern regions of Ukraine. He does not cease encouraging abuses against the people of Donbass.

 Regarding Syria, this same François Hollande, since taking office, has unceasingly kept up the offensive against the Syrian state. He has acknowledged arms shipments to the “rebels.” 

 And the statements of his foreign minister, including “the Al-Nusra Front did a good job,” statement, were said by the administrative courts, to note the foreign policy of France.

 These facts correspond to the definition that is given of crimes against peace, and of a crime of war. And there is certainly a case of complicity in the crimes committed. The question arises, before history, of our responsibility to all, confronted as we are with the atrocities committed by those who clearly abuse their position and turn aside from the mission that has been entrusted to them.

 According to Article 68 of the Constitution, and the Organic Law of November 24, 2014, in the case of breach of the duties of a President of the Republic, manifestly incompatible with the exercise of a mandate, a High Court may order the dismissal of the head of state. The initiative for this procedure is yours: one tenth of the parliamentarians of one or the other chamber deposit on the desk of their assembly a reasoned resolution for impeachment and calling the High Court to a meeting.

 Therefore Anna Touve and the young Syrian woman appeal to you and urge you, Mr Deputy, kindly take the initiative. For them, yes, but for all the civilians, the wounded, the prisoners, the women, the children, the elderly, who are suffering in their flesh because of a criminal policy of boundless cynicism and utter unscupulousness that certain politicians are conducting.
