French documentary unmasking Euromaidan airs on TV

The hard-hitting documentary by Paul Moreira “Ukraine, les masques de la révolution” [Ukraine: Masks of the Revolution], released on Monday night by Canal+, created a turmoil both in Ukraine and France well before the premiere.

On Sunday the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry reported in Facebook that their Ambassador in France had sent an outraged letter to Canal+ where he condemned  the documentary as a “a pamphlet at the height of the worst disinformation traditions” “using primitive methods of journalistic manipulation, including the handling of comments of respondents, distorted in translation and facts and purely fabricated images“. The same day Le Monde doubled the pressure on Canal+.

Paul Moreira has calmly and respectfully responded to his critics by a detailed post translated into English here. To the credit of Canal Plus’ management, the documentary was screened in time:

(the English subtitles are available)

Please watch it attentively. And let’s try to understand why it has infuriated the Kiev regime

To be fair, the masterpiece did not reveal anything new.

So far there were a lot of separate investigations by international organizations, NGOs, concerned individuals etc on different aspects of the “Revolution of Dignity“: who actually killed the “heavenly hundred, what happened in Odessa in May 2014, what is going on in the zone of “anti-terrorist operation” in the South-East of Ukraine, where are the “Russian troops” and where are the Western mercenaries there… But most of them were successfully ignored by the mainstream Western media, stick to their comfortable myths about Euromaidan.

The principal danger of Paul Moreira’s heartbreaking 50-minutes long documentary is that it exposed all critically important lies and silenced facts about “Revolution of Dignity” and its agents in a concentrated form at the established French TV channel.

Paul Moreira did not do anything but showed a simple and honest truth – there was no dignity in that “revolution”. There is no “free civilizational choice” and “independent and legitimate authorities” in today’s Ukraine. There are gangsters licensed to kill and rob, psychopaths and criminals in the “democratic parliament”, parallel Nazi-inspired army, foreign officials who manipulate the political process in a sovereign country, media under total nationalist control etc. His argumentation and picture are so evident, eloquent and bright that there is no reasonable way to refute them. Here is the cause of hysteria and calls to ban (which paradoxically has triggered unprecedented public attention to the movie far beyond France) – they understand that an open and fair discussion would lead further undesirable revelations against the interim rulers in Kiev.

One more pleasant outcome of this story is that the rumors about clinical death of the independent journalism in the West are apparently somewhat exaggerated…

Former Ukrainian security chief: EuroMaidan leaders hired the snipers that killed police and protesters

Andriy Parubiy, named in this report, visited Washington DC this week (February 25) to ask for more weapons for the Kiev regime.

From Kyiv Post, March 13, 2014
Katya Gorchinskaya

Former State Security Head of Ukraine Oleksandr Yakimenko blames Ukraine’s current government for hiring snipers on Feb. 20, when dozens of people were killed and hundreds more wounded. The victims were mainly EuroMaidan Revolution demonstrations, but some police officers were also killed. This was the deadliest day during the EuroMaidan Revolution, a three-month uprising that claimed 100 lives.

Yakimenko also blamed the United States for organizing and financing the revolution by bringing illegal cash in using diplomatic mail.

The U.S. Embassy in Ukraine dismissed the charges as ludicrous, while another official with the current government called the accusations “cynical” propaganda with no factual basis.

… … …

Yakimenko made these and other accusations in a 10-minute exclusive interview to Russia’s Vesti channel in an undisclosed location.

“The shots sounded from the building of Philharmonics,” Yakimenko told Vesti. “This was the building supervised by (now National Security Council Chief Andriy) Parubiy.”

He said the snipers were shooting in the back of the running police, as well as at protesters. He said there were two groups of “well-dressed” snipers, each composed of 10 people, operating in the building. Yakimenko said their exit was witnessed by both SBU operatives and protesters themselves.

He said one of the groups of snipers disappeared, but the other one relocated to Hotel Ukraina and continued to kill the protesters at a slower pace. Yakimenko said at that point representatives of Svoboda and Right Sector appealed to him to deploy SBU’s special unit Alfa to destroy the snipers.

Yakimenko claims that he was ready to do it, but did not get the permission of Parubiy, who supervised the self-defense forces.

“To get inside EuroMaidan I needed Parubiy’s permission because the forces of self-defense would hit me in the back,” Yakimenko said. “But Parubiy did not give me such a permission.”

Not a single weapon could get onto Maidan without Parubiy’s permission,” he said, adding that EuroMaidan protesters used mercenaries from former defense ministry’s special units, as well as foreign mercenaries, including those from former Yugoslavia.

… … ….

Yankimenko says that Parubiy, as well as a number of other organizers of EuroMaidan, received direct orders from the U.S. government. Among those people he named former and current intelligence chiefs Mykola Malomuzh and Viktor Gvozd, former Defense Minister Anatoliy Hrytsenko and leader of the opposition Petro Poroshenko.

“These are the forces that were doing everything they were told by the leaders and representatives of the United States,” he says. “They, in essence lived in the U.S. embassy. There wasn’t a day when they did not visit the embassy.”

… … …

SBU chief Valentyn Nalyvaichenko is also accused of playing to the tune of the Americans. The U.S. Embassy in Ukraine commented on these accusations in just one word: “ludicrous.”

All orders were given either by the U.S. or EU ambassador Jan Tombinski, “who in essence is a Polish citizen.”

“The role of Poland cannot be underestimated,” Yakimenko said. “It dreams about restoring its old wish, Rzeczpospolita.”

The EU Delegation had no comment about the accusations.

The former SBU chief also talked at length about the financing of EuroMaidan protests, saying much of it came directly from the U.S., and that some Ukrainian oligarchs, including Poroshenko, Dmytro Firtash and Viktor Pinchuk.

“From the beginning of Maidan we as a special service noticed a significant increase of diplomatic cargo to various embassies, western embassies located in Ukraine,” says Yakimenko. “It was tens of times greater than usual diplomatic cargo supplies.” He says that right after such shipments crisp, new U.S. dollar bills were spotted on Maidan.

He said Ukraine’s oligarchs were also financing Maidan because they were “hostages of the situation and had no choice” because most of their assets are located in the west.

Nazi hands that rock American cradles

It is natural when people move to a foreign country to form ethnically-based groups where they can share common traditions, foods, heritage, history, and teach their children about their heritage.

However, when the “heritage” involves Stepan Bandera and other Nazi collaborators, racists, and ultra-nationalists, when their version of history writes out, re-writes, or even glorifies genocidal activities, and when the group begins funding and promoting activities as well as a political agenda in their new country as well as in their original country, that is very dangerous and cannot be ignored.

This article describes the activities of OUNb-UCCA affiliated groups in America aimed at young people.

This article does not include the influence of Nazi officials and scientists brought to America under Operation Paperclip, and the alliances and mentoring they provided (with the blessing of the United States government) within many branches of government and industry as well as in the American neighborhoods where they lived. It does not include the homegrown Nazi and neo-Nazi individuals and groups in this country, or the industrialists who support Nazism and fascism.  Those numbers dramatically increase the phenomenal level of influence and political pressure and power.

This is in addition to historic racism in America, which provides another layer of support.

Are Ukrainian-American children brought up to be Bandera followers? If the children of all the Eastern European and Baltic emigre populations bring their children up in American this way, will it have an effect on non-emigre children in the US? With a combined population of 20 million career age emigre ultra nationalists according to their own estimates in the United States alone, you had better find out.

Was the Euromaidan which was funded heavily by the combined emigre populations about democracy? Answering this in a surprise statement at a cabinet meeting on February 10th 2015, Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko opened up about the basis of the post-coup Ukrainian state and the ideology it is built on.

“I think to the contrary that the Galicians are the foundation of the Ukrainian state,”

This definitely throws a damper on anyone in the EU or USA calling the Euro-maidan a pro-democratic protest or revolution. The Galicians that Poroshenko is referring to formulated the ideology of Stepan Bandera that is now the foundation of post Maidan Ukraine.

According to Ukrainian-American George Masni, a former UCCA Arizona state president “The “simple nationalism” Poroshenko is talking about is love of ones nation that drives to defend it from invaders. This type of nationalism is better known as patriotism.”

If ultra-nationalist ideology wasn’t part of the Ukrainian political landscape pre-Maidan, where did it come from? Before 1991 this ideology was foreign in Ukraine except for a tiny minority in the Lviv region.

The Nazi/ nationalist ideology of Stepan Bandera made its home in the hearts of Eastern European emigres worldwide, particularly in the United States and Canada. Each succeeding generation has been taught to be more dedicated to it than their parents were. Continue reading

EU threatened Ukraine with coup d’état over association agreement, while Washington masterminded the plan, says ex-Ukrainian PM

From RT, February 4, 2015

Top EU officials, rather than Russia, threatened Ukraine with a coup d’état if Kiev refused to sign an association agreement in 2013, Nikolay Azarov, Ukraine’s former prime minister, said.

“I’ve never heard neither Putin nor Medvedev saying that if you sign an agreement with the EU, you’ll have a different government. But I’ve heard [EU Commissioner for Enlargement and Neighborhood Policy, Stefan] Fule, repeatedly saying that if you don’t sign then the other government will sign it,” Azarov said at the presentation of his book ‘Ukraine at a crossroads. Prime Minister’s notes’ in Moscow.

The decision to delay the signing of the association agreement by then-Ukrainian president, Viktor Yanukovich, led to Euromaidan protests in the capital, Kiev, which turned violent and resulted in a regime change in February 2014.

According to Azarov, it was Washington which masterminded the plan to ouster Yanukovich and his government.

“As for the US, I think they initially applied the tactics of gradually forcing Yanukovich from power,” he said. But first, “their goal was to get rid of the government, because they saw the government as a key to the country’s stability.”

Washington needed to “knock out this foundation from under Yanukovich and they achieved this aim by introducing the idea of a national unity government,” he added.

Azarov quit his post as prime minister in late January 2014 amid the intensification of Euromaidan riots, stating it was in the hope that his resignation would create a chance for compromise between the government and the protesters.

Meanwhile, the US, Azarov said, managed to pull Yanukovich into “useless negotiations” with the Euromaidan demonstrators, while armed men from all over Ukraine were arriving in Kiev to seize power.

Over 100 were killed last February in clashes between the police and Euromaidan protesters in central Kiev, in which firearms were widely used.

Azarov insists Yanukovich had every opportunity to “maintain order in the country” and prevent the coup, but after the killings at the Euromaidan he was “was practically paralyzed.”

Following the coup, both Yanukovich and Azarov had to flee Ukraine and found refuge in Russia, saying that they feared for their lives.

In mid-January, Interpol put the former president and prime minster on the international wanted list after a request from Kiev. Yanukovich and Azarov stand accused of misappropriation and embezzlement during their time in office.

The new Kiev government signed the economic and political aspects of the association agreement last year, with Ukraine and the EU parliaments simultaneously ratifying them in September 2014.

The ex-PM described the current events in the south-east of Ukraine where the fighting continues between rebels and Kiev troops as a “catastrophe”.

With the sides being unable to reach a peaceful agreement on their own, the ex-PM urged the organization of an international conference, involving Russia, the US and Germany, to put an end to violence in Ukraine.

“If the forces inside the country don’t want to stop than – as it already happened in the world’s history – the Guarantor States gather and make a decision. Trust me, Germany, the US and Russia have enough influence to stop this war, they just need to come to an agreement,” he said.

The ex-PM also said that he doesn’t consider the new Ukrainian power, led by president Petro Poroshenko and prime minister Arseny Yatsenyuk, to be legitimate.

“How can I consider this a legitimate authority if it came to power through an armed coup, committed monstrous crimes and now continues a fratricidal war, doing nothing to stop (the violence)?” he wondered.

The Ukraine conflict began last April when Kiev sent regular forces and volunteer battalions to the southeastern Donetsk and Lugansk regions, after rebels within them refused to recognize the country’s new, coup-imposed authorities.

The death toll in the Ukraine conflict has exceeded 5,300 people, with over 12,000 injured, according to UN estimates.

Global Maidan conference held in New York to recruit and co-opt young people

This conference was held November 15, 2014

People who presented included

  • Katie Halper – outreach director for a Naomi Klein film and co-producer for a Tim Robbins film
  • Jonathan Schienberg – associate producer for “60 Minutes”
  • Jenny Halper – director of production and development for Maven Pictures, Trudie Styler and Celine Rattray’s production company. Trudie Styler is married to Sting.
  • Alex Leo – founding editor of HuffPostComedy, editor-at-large for Newsweek; previously head of product for Reuters, senior editor of Huffington Post, and associate producer at ABC
  • Meredith Scardino – writer for Colbert Report
  • Sara Taksler – senior producer for the Daily Show with Jon Stewart

This is a heady and frightening array of talent to seduce young people to join U.S. funded, neo-Nazi, ultra-right movements. It is also very educational to understand the influential and connected positions these people occupy in the entertainment and news media world in the United States.

From the article below:

The Global Maidan conference is an attempt to make imperialism, fascism, and terrorism attractive to young people. The conference will feature classes on filmmaking, comedy writing, and other skills young “hipsters” aspire to acquire. It is an attempt to make young people who want to change the world and halt oppression into tools – to direct their anger not at those responsible for the rising low-wage police state in the US, but at Wall Street’s enemies abroad.

The conference promo states:

Global Maidan was organized to honor the one-year anniversary of EuroMaidan, the pro-democracy revolution in Ukraine that began in November 2013

Global Maidan is a conference for civic activists to learn from experts in journalism, comedy, filmmaking, fundraising, and social media, and for those experts to share their insights and help civic activists change the world.

…Ukraine needs this attention right now as it enters its second year of the crisis and faces a frozen conflict with Russia.

Stewart, Colbert, and The Upcoming Nazi Terrorist Conference in New York City
By Caleb Maupin, November 12,2014

Volydymyr Parasiuk is no peace-loving freedom fighter. He is a 26-year-old armed fascist thug, who has commanded a battalion of Ukrainian “volunteers” to slaughter their own country folk. Parasiuk admits he was a member of the Congress of Ukrainian Nationalists, a group of Neo-Nazis who trained him in their paramilitary camp.  The Congress of Ukrainian Nationalists is known for its Nazism and its stated desire to carry out genocide. Its leader proclaimed in 2007: “Our time has come, and the Dnieper will soon be red with the blood of kikes (slur for Jews) and moskals (slur for Russians).”

Parasiuk openly brags about his close coordination with the Right Sector, another neo-Nazi organization, as well as his use of outright violence and terrorism to further his extreme aims.

On the floor of the Ukrainian parliament, he has given speeches denouncing any plan for peace with the people of East Ukraine. He wants all negotiations to be suspended. He wants martial law.  He dismissed all who do not accept the government imposed on them by the EU and US as “homeless, alcoholics, drug addicts” as well as “grannies who see Stalin waving at them from the world beyond.”

A Nazi Conference in New York City

Parasiuk’s career as a promoter and perpetrator of fascism and violence is not limited to Ukraine. It has been announced that on Nov. 15th, he is coming to New York City for a “Global Maidan” Conference.

At the conference to take place on the lower east side of Manhattan, US supporters of Ukrainian fascism will join with terrorists seeking to overthrow the governments of Venezuela, Iran, Syria, and other countries. Together, with funding from Pentagon-linked NGOs, they will attempt to coordinate their activities and recruit young New Yorkers to their project.

The Global Maidan conference, where Parasiuk will be given a platform and treated as a hero, will also feature “Daily Show” segment producer Sara Taksler, as well as “Colbert Report” writer Meredith Scardino.

A few years back, Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert held a “Rally To Restore Sanity” in Washington, DC. At the rally they bemoaned, with sarcasm and humor, the “shrillness” of political discourse. Is fascist monster Parasiuk a representative of the kind of “moderation” they and their production teams support?

Wall Street Fights Russia With Fascism

Ukrainian President Victor Yanukovich, who was democratically elected, was not willing to bring his country under the complete dominion of NATO and the European Union. He was not willing to cripple the country with IMF debt. He was more interested in developing a financial relationship with Russia than with the United States.

To overthrow the elected government in Ukraine, the US government poured billions of dollars into the creation of a violent, fascist movement.  After riots that would make even the most violent explosions in the US during the 1960s look like a playground scuffle in comparison, the elected government was removed. A rightwing-led movement — filled with self-proclaimed “ultra-nationalists” who consider Hitler to be a “liberator” and “hero” — seized control of the government.

The people of East Ukraine are fighting in the hopes of keeping their language and culture legal, and not being subjected to genocide (“the Dnieper will soon be red with the blood of kikes (slur for Jews) and moskals (slur for Russians)”).

In an attempt to keep Russia out of the rising global markets, the US has aligned itself with fascists. Ukraine was a peaceful country, but is now the site of massive civil war with political repression and ethnic violence now a common occurrence.

Will This Be Tolerated?

Six months ago, 43 people were burned alive by Parasiuk’s ilk in the Odessa House of Trade Unions, some of them finished off with baseball bats after jumping from the burning building. For the sake of their memory and their families, city officials, community members and people of basic human decency should make all efforts to prevent this terrorist conference from taking place.

US Federal Law forbids “conspiracy to commit terrorism,” something that accurately describes exactly what this conference would entail. If the NYPD were interested in “serving and protecting” the innocent, they would shut down this gathering of Ukrainian mass murderers instead of investigating people peacefully praying at mosques.

Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert, who purport to be “liberals” and advocates of “sanity” in political discourse, should end their association with this kind of ugly extremist terrorism. Scardino and Taksler should apologize for promoting Nazism, or be removed in order to maintain the integrity of the TV program.

Hundreds of New Yorkers died fighting Nazis in the Second World War. Why should this city host these modern-day fascist monsters decades later — just because they are helping Wall Street make a buck and compete with Russia?
