Former Polish president confirms existence of secret CIA torture prison

From World Socialist Web Site
By Konrad Kreft
18 December 2014

The Polish government has denied for years the existence of a secret CIA prison on its territory between 2001 and 2003 in the face of previous revelations.

The publication of the US Senate report on CIA torture, however, has not only proven the existence of the “black site,” but also the close collaboration between the Polish and American governments in barbaric and illegal practices.

US President Barack Obama called Polish President Ewa Kopacz the night before the report’s release “in order to forewarn the US ally of the publication,” according to Polish sources.

The following day, Aleksander Kwaśniewski, Poland’s president between 1995 and 2005, gave a joint press conference in the country’s parliament, the Sejm, with Leszek Miller, prime minister between 2001 and 2004. For the first time, the two social democrats from the Democratic Left Alliance (SLD) admitted that the CIA had operated a secret prison in Poland.

The approval of the clandestine facility, which reportedly operated between 2001 and 2003, was part of strengthening Poland’s ties to the US in line with the so-called war on terror, Kwaśniewski said. He claimed that the government asked the US to treat prisoners in accordance with Polish law. A memorandum drafted for this purpose was “informally” recognised by the US representatives, but not signed due to time constraints, he claimed.

The former president said the cooperation with the US accelerated after September 2001, as Poland responded under NATO rules to an attack on a fellow member nation.

Although Kwaśniewski said he was opposed to it, he admitted to having known about the torture, essentially acknowledging his complicity in these crimes. “Interrogations were unfortunately normally carried out secretly and on the verge of legality. But the goal of all of this was not torture for torture’s sake, but to obtain information we otherwise would not have gotten.”

The millions of dollars Poland received from the CIA was all legal, Kwaśniewski claimed. This had been paid not for making the secret location available, he asserted, but for other reasons. “The financing took place in accordance with the regulations of the Polish intelligence agencies, the Agencja Wywiadu and Agencja Bezpieczeństwa Wewnętrznego,” he said, adding, “The parliamentary committee for the secret services was informed about the financing.” Continue reading

Engdahl: Foreign bankers rape Ukraine

Published in New Eastern Outlook
December 18, 2014

If it were not for the fact that the lives of some 45 million people are at stake, Ukrainian national politics could be laughed off as a very sick joke. Any pretenses that the October national elections would bring a semblance of genuine democracy of the sort thousands of ordinary Ukrainians demonstrated for on Maidan Square just one year ago vanished with the announcement by Victoria Nuland’s darling Prime Minister, “Yat” Yatsenyuk, of his new cabinet.

The US-picked Ukraine President, billionaire oligarch Petro Poroshenko called “snap” elections at the end of August for October 26. He did so to make sure genuine opposition to his regime of murderers, gangsters and in some cases outright Nazis would be able to push an unprepared genuine opposition out of the Verkhovna Rada or Parliament. Because the parliament had significant opposition parties to the US-engineered February 22 coup d’etat, they had blocked many key pieces of legislation that the Western vultures were demanding, from changing key land ownership laws to privatization of precious state assets. By law, the old parliament would have sat until its five year term ended in October, 2017. That was clearly too long for State Department neo-con Ukraine puppet-mistress Victoria Nuland and her backers in Washington.

Now, with a new parliament that is controlled by the Petro Poroshenko bloc as largest party and the boyish-looking former Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk, who is also new Prime Minister as head of the second largest party, the way was clear to get on with the rape of Ukraine. What shocked some is the blatant foreign takeover that followed, like a Wall Street vulture fund raid on a distressed debtor country of the Third World.

The ridiculous charade

Yatsenyuk, former finance minister in a previous criminal regime, and a suspected senior member of the US-intelligence-friendly “Church of Scientology,” has named three complete foreigners as cabinet ministers in key economic posts. And in an extraordinary act, the three have been made instant Ukrainian citizens by Poroshenko in a ridiculous ceremony. Ukraine is looking more and more like the US-occupied Philippines after the Spanish-American War of 1898 when General Arthur MacArthur, father of the mentally-dis-ordered Douglas, was Washington’s dictator on the spot.

The new Ukrainian Finance Minister, the one who will control the money and decides where it goes, is one Natalia A. Jaresko. She speaks fluent Ukrainian. Only problem—she is an American citizen, a US State Department veteran who is also a US investment banker. Now, the Ukrainian Constitution, prudently enough, stipulates that government ministers be Ukrainian. How then does our sweet Natalia come in? Continue reading

Kiev prohibits Bochum, Germany from delivering humanitarian aid to Donetsk

Junta vs. miners: Kiev prohibited the German twin city of Donetsk from helping

In early December, the authorities and the public organizations of Bochum (located in the Ruhr region, North Rhine – Westphalia — famous for its coal mines ) appealed to the Ukrainian Government requesting to allow them to deliver humanitarian aid to Donetsk.

However, the Kiev junta refused on the pretext of difficulties with the customs clearance of cargo.

The German newspaper Die Welt writes this.

Truth Dig

Late Thursday night, the House of Representatives unanimously passed a far-reaching Russia sanctions bill, a hydra-headed incubator of poisonous conflict. The second provocative anti-Russian legislation in a week, it further polarizes our relations with Russia, helping to cement a Russia-China alliance against Western hegemony, and undermines long-term America’s financial and physical security by handing the national treasury over to war profiteers.

Here’s how the House’s touted “unanimity” was achieved: Under a parliamentary motion termed “unanimous consent,” legislative rules can be suspended and any bill can be called up. If any member of Congress objects, the motion is blocked and the bill dies.

At 10:23:54 p.m. on Thursday, a member rose to ask “unanimous consent” for four committees to be relieved of a Russia sanctions bill. At this point the motion, and the legislation, could have been blocked by a single member who would say “I object.”  No one objected, because no one was watching for last-minute bills to be slipped through.

Most of the House and the media had emptied out of the chambers after passage of the $1.1 trillion government spending package.

The Congressional Record will show only three of 425 members were present on the floor to consider the sanctions bill. Two of the three feigned objection, creating the legislative equivalent of a ‘time out.’ They entered a few words of support, withdrew their “objections” and the clock resumed.

According to the clerk’s records, once the bill was considered under unanimous consent, it was passed, at 10:23:55 p.m., without objection, in one recorded, time-stamped second, unanimously.

Then the House adjourned.

I discovered, in my 16 years in Congress, that many members seldom read the legislation on which they vote. On Oct. 24, 2001, House committees spent long hours debating the Patriot Act. At the last minute, the old bill was swapped out for a version with draconian provisions. I voted against that version of the Patriot Act, because I read it. The legislative process requires attention.

Legislation brought before Congress under “unanimous consent” is not read by most members simply because copies of the bill are generally not available. During the closing sessions of Congress I would often camp out in the House chamber, near the clerk’s desk, prepared to say “I object” when something of consequence appeared out of the blue. Dec. 11, 2014, is one of the few times I regret not being in Congress to have the ability to oversee the process.

The Russia Sanctions bill that passed “unanimously,” with no scheduled debate, at 10:23:55 p.m. on Dec. 11, 2014, includes: 1. Sanctions of Russia’s energy industry, including Rosoboronexport and Gazprom.

  1. Sanctions of Russia’s defense industry, with respect to arms sales to Syria.
  2. Broad sanctions on Russians’ banking and investments.
  3. Provisions for privatization of Ukrainian infrastructure, electricity, oil, gas and renewables, with the help of the World Bank and USAID.
  4. Fifty million dollars to assist in a corporate takeover of Ukraine’s oil and gas sectors.
  5. Three hundred and fifty million dollars for military assistance to Ukraine, including anti-tank, anti-armor, optical, and guidance and control equipment, as well as drones.
  6. Thirty million dollars for an intensive radio, television and Internet propaganda campaign throughout the countries of the former Soviet Union.
  7. Twenty million dollars for “democratic organizing” in Ukraine.
  8. Sixty million dollars, spent through groups like the National Endowment for Democracy, “to improve democratic governance, and transparency, accountability [and] rule of law” in Russia. What brilliant hyperbole to pass such a provision the same week the Senate’s CIA torture report was released.
  9. An unverified declaration that Russia has violated the Intermediate-Range Nuclear Forces Treaty, is a nuclear “threat to the United States” and should be held “accountable.”
  10. A path for the U.S. withdrawal from the INF Treaty, which went into force in 1988. The implications of this are immense. An entire series of arms agreements are at risk of unraveling. It may not be long before NATO pushes its newest client state, Ukraine, to abrogate the Non-Proliferation Treaty, which Ukraine signed when it gave up its nuclear weapons, and establish a renewed nuclear missile capability, 300 miles from Moscow.
  11. A demand that Russia verifiably dismantle “any ground launched cruise missiles or ballistic missiles with a range of between 500 and 5,500 kilometers …”—i.e., 300 and 3,300 miles.

Read the legislation, which Congress apparently didn’t.

As reported on GlobalSecurity.org, earlier that same day in Kiev, the Ukrainian parliament approved a security plan that will:

  1. Declare that Ukraine should become a “military state.”
  2. Reallocate more of its approved 2014 budget for military purposes.
  3. Put all military operating units on alert.
  4. Mobilize military and national guard units.
  5. Increase military spending in Ukraine from 1 percent of GDP to 5 percent, increasing military spending by $3 billion over the next few years.
  6. Join NATO and switch to NATO military standards.

Under the guise of democratizing, the West stripped Ukraine of its sovereignty with a U.S.-backed coup, employed it as a foil to advance NATO to the Russian border and reignited the Cold War, complete with another nuclear showdown.

The people of Ukraine will be less free, as their country becomes a “military state,” goes into hock to international banks, faces structural readjustments, privatization of its public assets, decline of social services, higher prices and an even more severe decline in its standard of living.

In its dealings with the European Union, Ukraine could not even get concessions for its citizens to find work throughout Europe. The West does not care about Ukraine, or its people, except for using them to seize a strategic advantage against Russia in the geopolitical game of nations.

Once, with the help of the West, Ukraine fully weighs in as a “military state” and joins the NATO gun club, its annual defense budget will be around $3 billion, compared with the current defense budget of Russia, which is over $70 billion.

Each Western incitement creates a Russian response, which is then given as further proof that the West must prepare for the very conflict it has created, war as a self-fulfilling prophecy.

That the recent Russia sanctions bill was advanced, “unanimously,” without debate in the House, portends that our nation is sleepwalking through the graveyards of history, toward an abyss where controlling factors reside in the realm of chance, what Thomas Hardy termed “crass casualty.” Such are the perils of unanimity.

UKRAINE FREEDOM SUPPORT ACT OF 2014 — (House of Representatives – December 11, 2014)

[Page: H10305] GPO’s PDF

Mr. ROYCE. Madam Speaker, I ask unanimous consent that the Committees on Foreign Affairs, Financial Services, Oversight and Government Reform, and the Judiciary be discharged from further consideration of the bill (H.R. 5859) to impose sanctions with respect to the Russian Federation, to provide additional assistance to Ukraine, and for other purposes, and ask for its immediate consideration in the House.

The Clerk read the title of the bill.

The SPEAKER pro tempore (Mrs. Wagner). Is there objection to the request of the gentleman from California?

Mr. ENGEL. Madam Speaker, reserving the right to object, although I don’t intend to object, this is a very important measure. We need to send this measure to the President’s desk, and we need to do so tonight. I am delighted that we are doing so.

It is clear that Russia is not only fomenting separatism in Ukraine, it is actively supporting the uprising and sending troops to back it up. This is an invasion, plain and simple.

I am concerned that the Kremlin’s designs don’t stop with Ukraine. Putin is already putting substantial pressure on our NATO allies and our European friends. We must not bow to his aggression.

If we don’t act now, where will we be in 6 months? Where will we be in 2 years? Where will we be in a decade?

Since the Cold War, a vision has emerged of a Europe whole, free, and at peace. That reality is within reach. Putin’s aggression puts that future in dire jeopardy. We cannot let that hope die.

We need to let President Putin know loudly and clearly we will not stand for his blatant disregard of international law, we will not abandon our friends, and, as the United States, we remain the world’s champion of freedom, democracy, and the dignity of all people.

Madam Speaker, I would like to commend the chairman and ranking member of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee for sending the House this bill so that we can stand as one in the face of Russia’s aggression. In the House Foreign Affairs Committee, Chairman Royce and I, as ranking member, have worked together to say that we will not stand for Putin’s aggression.

I think this is a very, very important thing to do, very important bill to pass.

With that, I withdraw my reservation of objection.

The SPEAKER pro tempore. Is there objection to the request of the gentleman from California?

Ms. KAPTUR. Madam Speaker, reserving the right to object, though I don’t intend to object, I would like to stand this evening and say, as cochair of the Ukranian Caucus, along with my dear colleagues, Jim Gerlach of Pennsylvania, and the ranking member of the full committee, Congressman Eliot Engel of New York, I stand in strong support of H.R. 5859, a measure that allows America to shine the hope of liberty to the distant land of Ukraine, a measure that we hope to send to the President’s desk very soon, and we need to move it tonight.

It is clear that Russia is actively fomenting upheaval and propagandizing in the West about its illegal invasion. It is an invasion, plain and simple, of a sovereign nation. The Kremlin’s designs don’t stop with Ukraine, and we see substantial pressure being placed on our NATO allies and other European friends. Liberty cannot bow to Putin’s aggression.

Six months ago, when Russia invaded Ukraine, 4,000 more Ukrainian lives were existing and have been taken. Just according to the U.N. 1,000 additional lives have been lost since the cease-fire that was negotiated in September, and approximately 13 lives per day are being lost.

Since the cold war, a vision has emerged of a Europe whole, free, and at peace, and that reality is within reach. Putin’s reckless aggression cannot stand. The United States cannot let the hope of liberty die, surely, in a land where its people have historically suffered more than any other place on Earth. The ravages of World War II still sting their memory and ours, and motivate our actions here tonight.

By approving H.R. 5859, America sends a clear signal to the world that we are the standard bearer of liberty at home and abroad. I am very pleased to join my colleagues this evening.

I thank the chairman and ranking member of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee for sending the House this bill.

With that, I withdraw my reservation of objection.

The SPEAKER pro tempore. Is there objection to the request of the gentleman from California?

There was no objection.

United States is creating three military bases in Ukraine, says military expert

Video in Russian here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l8ad9eYjkSc, Published December 15, 2014

Editor in Chief of Segodnya.ru Jury Kotenok speaks to a military expert, Army Reserve Colonel Alexander Zhilin.
http://segodnya.ru/
Translated and posted on Fort Russ

Jury Kotenok: American Senate adopted an openly anti-Russian act, according to which, besides military aid Ukraine will receive lethal weapons. Without a doubt, there is a great likelihood that all of this will be directed against Russia, and a risk of war in Crimea increases several times. Besides, in the nearest future NATO bases may appear in Ukraine.  About a military threat to Russia and military sanctions against it speaks a military expert, Army Reserve Colonel, Alexander Zhilin.

Alexander Zhilin: Yes, the document which the Senate has adopted is certainly very very telling. Look, everything is done in synchronicity, the new fascist Rada received a bill to cancel the neutral status of Ukraine, and immediately this document, which we are talking about, was adopted by the Americans. What does this mean? It means that the territory of Ukraine becomes a military platform. It means that in the nearest future Ukraine will be pumped with American weapons. It means that, as planned, Americans will first open three military bases in Ukraine. They will not be called military bases, they will be called “Centers for Preparation of Military Specialists for the National Army of Ukraine”, but they will be de facto military bases.

Will that bring peace to Ukraine? No. Why? Because, according to what has been planned, Ukraine has to turn into a naked steppe, on foundation of which will be built a principally new society. Therefore in Ukraine SBU is planning terrorist attacks, local conflicts, gang activity to pillage and murder, they have to maximally liquidate the native population. And then Germany will enter the game, and will begin to form conditions on this territory to implement a modified Marshall Plan 2 – a plan to create a belt of destabilization to destabilize situation in Russia and create a platform for a military attack on our country, if needed. Why is this platform advantageous? Because – count how many kilometers are there between Moscow, where we are standing now, to those military bases which will be open by the Americans and NATO in Ukraine, – it’s nothing.

Considering that the Americans are entering an era of exploitation of principally new weapons, which fly with hyper-speed, then our entire system of defense will be subjected to a lot of pressure. In this regard, from one perspective we must invest in defense, but if we look at the effectiveness from a conceptual perspective, the army is only sixth in the hierarchy of effectiveness of national defense. What do I mean? Look at Switzerland, their army is only 1,500 people. Will anyone attack Switzerland? All the riches of the world and the major banks and vaults are concentrated in Switzerland  Not one idiot will attack this country. We have to operate like China, where, I want to stress, two years ago appeared a new position – First Deputy Head of General Staff in charge of Economic Wars. They are not only planning for nuclear attacks, they are planning for economic attacks, economic defense. They are looking into tomorrow.

I have to say the following – we still have time. But if we only focus on pseudo-tactical tasks – fix here, fix there, went to Turkey, looks like got a deal, went to China, didn’t get credits – this is not politics, this is child play. We need a strategic line of a great country, which has to pursue a policy which will put us in the center of world processes, just as it used to be before, when our great weapons were heard around the world and not one cannon in the world could shoot without a permission form our great country.

Transcarpathia is ready to open a second front with 15,000 people

Posted on Fort Russ, December 7, 2014

From Antifashist.com
http://antifashist.com/item/kiev-tolkaet-rusin-k-silovomu-variantu-protivostoyaniya-lider-podkarpatskoj-rusi.html

Transcarpathia is the second front in the fight for decentralization of power in Ukraine, along with Donetsk and Lugansk, said at a press conference in Rostov-on-Don the Prime Minister of Subcarpathian Rus Peter Getsko.

“Transcarpathia is the second hot spot, along with the South-East – Novorossia. If Donetsk and Lugansk went on the path of confrontation, Rusyns for many years have been on the path of a peaceful resolution of problems. We cannot say that we have not made progress on this path. We had no military clashes, but we are ready to produce 15 thousand people against the Ukrainian military and the Right Sector. They will easily be able to block mountain passes and to take power in the region. The other thing is that, given the sad experience of Donetsk and Transnistria, the Republic may end up isolated. Therefore, we seek solutions with political and diplomatic means,” – said Peter Getsko.

According to the leader of the unrecognized Republic, representatives of the Rusyn national movement, in addition to brotherly Russia, have contacts with authorities and politicians in Hungary, Slovakia, Czech Republic and Romania. On November 25 the issue of Transcarpathian Rusins was heard at the Romanian Parliament, and on December 2  the European Parliament held a round table devoted to the relations between Russia, Ukraine and the EU, where a significant portion of time was devoted to discussing problems of Rusyns.

In Transcarpathia representatives of the Rusyn movement and other opposition leaders are persecuted as “separatists”. On November 13 three elderly activists were subjected to searches and interrogations. In Mukachevo the editor of the opposition newspaper “Workers’ and Peasants ‘ Truth” Anatoly Mayevsky was detained.

“We do not advocate secession from Ukraine, we are for a united Ukraine, but against the unitary structure of the country. We believe that our Republic should receive an independent status within a Confederation,” – stressed Peter Getsko.

The leader of the unrecognized Republic expressed hope that with the support of Russia and European countries Transcarpathia will be able to peacefully achieve recognition and independence, although with repression of activists “Kiev is pushing Rusyns to a military option of confrontation”.

US-NATO delivering arms to Ukraine; the planning of aggression against Russia

From Global Research, December 15, 2014
By Stephen Lendman
http://www.globalresearch.ca/us-nato-delivering-arms-to-ukraine-the-planning-of-aggression-against-russia/5419850

Despite claiming otherwise. Big Lies substituting for hard truths. Longstanding US-controlled NATO policy. Ignored by media pundits reporting nothing.

Kiev wants Donbas democracy crushed. Hardline rule replacing it. Naked aggression waged to force-feed policy.

Illegitimate oligarch president Petro Poroshenko’s so-called “day(s) of silence” are meaningless. Subterfuge. Quiet before the storm.

Poroshenko threatened “total war” on Russia. “(F)ull-scale war” on Donbas. “Better prepared than” earlier.

Armed with covertly supplied US weapons and munitions. Unanimously passed identical House and Senate legislation makes it easier.

The Ukraine Freedom Support Act (UFSA) of 2014 authorizes lethal and non-lethal aid. Besides what’s already being supplied.

Including communications equipment. Body armor. Night vision goggles. Humvees. Radar. Counter-mortar detection units. Binoculars. Small boats. Various other gear.

Sniper and assault rifles. Hand grenade launchers. Mortars and shells. Stingers. Anti-tank missiles. What’s known may be the tip of the iceberg.

UFSA legislation “authoriz(ing) (Obama) to provide defense articles, defense services, and training to the Government of Ukraine for the purpose of countering offensive weapons and reestablishing the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine…”

“(I)ncluding anti-tank and anti-armor weapons, crew weapons and ammunition, counter-artillery radars to identify and target artillery batteries, fire control, range finder, and optical and guidance and control equipment, tactical troop-operated surveillance drones, and secure command and communications equipment.”

Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov said Russia “will not be able to leave this without a response.” Especially if new US sanctions are imposed.

Ryabkov blamed US “anti-Russian moods.” Trying “to dictate decisions to us that for us are categorically unacceptable.” Destroying chances for cooperation.

Russian Foreign Ministry spokesman Alexander Lukashevich responded to hostile US legislation, saying:

“Both houses of the US Congress have approved the Ukraine Freedom Support Act bypassing debates and proper voting. The overtly confrontational message of the new law cannot but evoke profound regret.”

“Once again Washington is leveling baseless sweeping accusations against Russia and threatening more sanctions. At the same time it is muddling together the Ukrainian and Syrian conflicts, which the United States has been instrumental in inflating. It even refers to the INF Treaty although American compliance with it is questionable, to put it mildly. At the same time, it promises to Kiev to arm its military operation in Donbass and openly admits that it intends to use NGOs for an impact on Russia’s domestic processes.”

“Though it appears that major challenges to international security demand pooled Russian and American efforts, US legislators follow President Obama’s administration destroying the very foundation of partnership. Bilateral relations are being torpedoed no less powerfully than by the notorious Jackson-Vanik amendment, endorsed in 1974 to obstruct cooperation for several decades. We cannot but conclude that, blinded by outdated phobias, the United States is anxious to reverse time. As the US Congress instigates anti-Russian sanctions, it should part with the illusion of their effect. Russia will not be intimidated into giving up its interests and tolerating interference in its internal affairs.”

Washington is directly involved in planning and directing Kiev’s naked aggression. Covertly since conflict began last April.

UFSA legislation does more than authorize arming Ukraine. It directs John Kerry to work with Ukrainian officials. Helping them reduce Russian gas imports.

Instructs Broadcasting Board of Governors (BBG) overseeing all US civilian and international media to submit an action plan to Congress. Continue reading

Two American Transport Planes Are Being Unloaded At Zaporozhye Airport [1]
December 13, 2014, 23:10 Local Time:

“Right now at Zaporozhye airport they are unloading two transport planes from USA. Cargo is in boxes. According to additional information two more planes are expected to arrive.”

Blogger Colonel Cassad: The Reason For Shutting Down Ukrainian Airspace Is To Accept Military Cargo From USA [2]
Colonel Cassad – Live Journal December 14, 2014

Ukrainian airports are shut down in order to accept military-transport planes of USA and NATO. One of my readers who has connections in Zaporozhye already confirmed it.

His friend’s work is connected with Zaporozhye airport. Here is his quote:

“Now at the airport they are performing an urgent order for the installation of defensive towers along the perimeter of the airport. He said that the work needs to be completed ASAP, since the order is urgent. Started in late November. Now almost complete. Yesterday reported that flights from Zaporozhye (Motor Sich) will stop on the 13th. And this is despite the wishes of Motor Sich to fly to Moscow daily from December 16, instead of three times a week.

To the question, why stop, one of the airport workers replied that the airport has to be prepared to accept military aircraft with equipment, including Kharkov and Dnepropetrovsk. The equipment is expected from the United States.”

In Dnepropetrovsk – a similar situation, from Kharkov there was no confirmation. In general, apparently the US does not want to wait until the Act on military assistance to Ukraine adopted by the senate will pass through congress and are boosting rearmament of junta troops. New unofficial military advisers/assistants should be expected to show up as well.

The Russian Foreign Ministry called this Act confrontational and threatened a radical response. Let’s see where this muscle flexing will lead.

Confessions of a Right Sector spokesperson and new Ukrainian parliament member, Borislav Bereza

Borislav Bereza Facebook account, June 1, 2014

Translation on Fort Russ
http://fortruss.blogspot.com/2014/11/confessions-of-right-sector.html

The right hand of Dmitry Yarosh, Right Sector spokesperson and a new Ukrainian PM, Borislav Bereza, shared the plans of Ukrainian military and the Right Sector regarding the population of Donetsk and Lugansk regions on his Facebook account on June 1, 2014:

“What I am going to say is brutal, but honest. The situation in the East has reached a critical point. Having a dialog is not feasible. Mercenaries from Russia arrive every day. Their numbers are getting to a critical point. Considering the current number of Russian mercenaries, the military is guaranteeing successful execution of the operation in 30 days.

The military has 3 demands:

Guarantees for their future safety and protection, unlike what happened to Berkut police. For the government not to blame them for everything in order to clear itself.

Second – to provide all necessities, weapons, ammunition, transport, food. It is all available, but a decision is needed for distribution.

Third – an authorization to begin a final stage. This will depend on the president.

The thing is there is only one solution to the problem – a full-scale military operation.

Phase one – a locality is surrounded, through loud-speakers population is notified to leave the territory in 1-3 days, after which all remaining will be declared accessory to the enemy. Terrorists who want to surrender and lay down arms, will have that opportunity. People will be escorted through sorting camps. This can be done fast and effectively by installing a large number of criminal laboratories, and by separating women and children. Plus appearance of marks consistent with use of weapons and belts will help identify separatists.

Phase 2 – the city will be subject to massive attack with heavy weaponry.

Phase 3 – repeat phase 1. Phase 4 – repeat phase 2. Then – the final phase of the operation. Targeted strikes of the city, followed by demo-machinery.

You will say its harsh? It’s absolutely necessary.

Otherwise in a couple months it will metastasize in other regions. Therefore an urgent surgical operation is needed. Those who want to be human shields for the occupants are not brainwashed citizens of Ukraine, but are traitors helping a foreign invader. These people have always been eliminated. Do you want me to remind you about examples from WWII, I think not.

No matter how sad and tragic it is to admit, but there are no other solutions to the problem in Eastern Ukraine. And this is not my decision, its an opinion of the professionals. And I have to agree with them.

The only person, who can decide whether to give this order, is the commander-in-chief, the new president Petr Poroshenko. And he needs to be motivated by not humanism, but by the necessity to protect territorial integrity of Ukraine, and by protecting the lives of Ukrainian citizens among the military and civilians.

The situation has reached a level, where there is only one solution. Unfortunately, there are no options. If Poroshenko wants to go down in history as a person who brought peace to the country and preserved its territorial integrity, then he will give that order. Therefore, the citizens of Donbass and Lugansk still have some time to decide which side they will take, and whether to stay or to leave. I have friends and acquaintances on the territory of Donbass, and I would tell them to prepare to leave.

They can thank not only their Eastern neighbor, but also those animals, who have traded their patriotism, honor and conscience for personal ambition and gain, while becoming puppets of the Kremlin b%ches. Its their choice. And among them there are many a%$holes with parliamentary papers. But Ukrainians and Ukraine cannot be hostages of the terrorists forever. The military is waiting for their guarantees and the order to begin the operation.

And let God help us survive this horror.”

The Ministry of Energy and Coal Industry of Ukraine held an urgent meeting with the new Minister Vladimir Demchishin, in a frantic attempt to find a way out of a catastrophic situation with a shortage of coal at Ukrainian thermal power plants, reported “Ukrainian Pravda” on December 5, with reference to sources in the Ministry.

It is noted that at the talks were present the head of DTEK (energy company of Rinat Akhmetov) Maxim Timchenko and Sergei Kuzara, a former adviser to Eduard Stavytsky, Minister of Energy in  Azarov [Yanukovich] government.

The publication referred to the information from the Director of one of the thermal power plants of Ukraine: “I knew that everything is bad with coal, but did not suspect to what extent — I am not trying to scare you, but if in the near future we will not run the gas/fuel blocks, then we will freeze, and Kiev will be first in line. There is no coal at the plants, because of the stupidity of the country’s leadership, we will not have enough time to get it in a week”.

The following data was provided: at TPP warehouses of the state company “Centrenergo” since July the amount of coal decreased to a minimum: July – 969 thousand tons; August – 691 thousand tons; September – 205 thousand tons; October – 98 thousand tons; November – 58 thousand tons, and now, in December – there is not even that.” It was emphasized that the speech of the Director of TPP was “very emotional and with unprintable language towards the leadership of the country”.

As reported by IA REGNUM, the state company “Ukrenergo” announced on December 3 “a particularly dire state with the provision of coal at Zmievskaya, Uglegorsk, Lugansk, Dnieper and Kryvoy Rog TPP’s, where the fuel reserves will last only 4 days (as of December 3). Ukrainian authorities do not want to buy coal from Donetsk and Lugansk Republics,  a contract with South Africa is practically annulled, and deliveries from Russia are “irregular”.

Editor’s Comments:

Why is this a catastrophe? First of all, the people of Ukraine will freeze, literally freeze, this winter. There are areas where the Kiev regime’s forces, with NATO support, have targeted and destroyed the infrastructure. That already means no electricity and no water. But with no coal, they will die. American taxpayers are paying for weapons and support to destroy more homes and kill more Ukrainians.

But it’s even worse and international in scope, “coming to a neighborhood near you”. Ukraine’s nuclear power plants are absolutely dependent on the coal-burning (thermal) power plants to keep reactor cores and fuel rods cool. Those reactors will either be forced to shut down now, eliminating that source of electricity. Or if Kiev is utterly sociopathic, which they have amply proven, the reactors will be kept running until the inevitable power outages lead to explosions and meltdowns just like Fukushima.

But…there are 15 nuclear reactors in Ukraine. Five times Fukushima. Everyone who follows the research and reports from Fukushima knows what a cataclysmic disaster that is, with no end in sight. How disastrous would a Ukrainian nuclear holocaust be? The end of Earth now, immediately? Possibly.

Americans think this radiation won’t reach them. Radiation from Fukushima circles the Earth every 13 days, drifting down on us, more so when it rains or snows. No one is left out. The Northern Hemisphere is particularly impacted.

This crisis is the fault of the United States and Western powers/NATO and the Kiev regime. They have created this nightmare.

I posted these articles earlier:

15 nuclear reactors at grave risk in Ukraine, with update

Lack of coal may bring Ukraine to its knees this winter

Hunter Biden can forget his plans for fracking. It will be impossible if the land is too contaminated to work. Forget about Monsanto’s plans for industrial ag and GMOs for the Ukrainian breadbasket. Who will buy radioactive wheat or other crops? And there are rumors that some want to revive the old kingdom of Khazaria in what is now Russia if NATO accomplishes its end goal of invading Russia. How? If the land is radioactive, no one will live there.

Foolish, greedy, wicked, insane. All NATO and Western leaders, and other powers that push this agenda are exposed as psychopaths in addition to their other crimes. All those who won’t stop now when the consequences are revealed cannot be human.

Get this information about coal and the power plants to your local and national officials. Send this to everyone who cares about a future. The situation in Ukraine is the most urgent issue before all of us. The people of Ukraine need our help desperately and the survival of the entire world is at stake.
