More than 50 tons of food and means of personal hygiene were distributed by the staff of the International Committee of the Red Cross in the territory of the self-proclaimed Donetsk People’s Republic for the last week, the representative of the ICRC reported.
From 15.02 till 19.02 5586 grocery and gross hygienic sets weighing 53 tons in total were distributed by the ICRC. The humanitarian aid was distributed in seven DPR localities.

The Russian Federation has transferred to railway workers of Donbass more than 16 thousand tons of humanitarian aid in 2015 – the DPR Minister of Transport Semyon Kuzmenko.
16,5 thousand tons of freights have been transferred already. Generally the humanitarian aid consists of materials for the Donetsk railway – glass, cement, bricks and a specific railway equipment which was destroyed as a result of military operations.
He specified that the help was provided in October.

Conflict in Donbass has gathered lots of international volunteers to different kind of tasks, which can happen everywhere in world, also in Donbass. SDP is building coordination and cooperation organization with international community for voluntary works for saving Donbass people. Most effective use of voluntary human resources is our target.
Notice: To join SDP missions all volunteers have to be minimum 18 years old.
SDP can produce its own civilian missions and participate with its members in excisting ones. Volunteers can participate in DONi media works, SDP humanitarian programs, communal helping and depending from volunteers will and personal skills, basically participating in all sectors of communal life in Donbass is possible. All volunteer candidates will be contacted personally by SDP and DONi staff after sending us message below.
All tasks and actions made under SDP will be accepted by local authorities and performed by local laws and regulations. Foreign volunteers will not get salary from works, but expences from taking care of agreed responsibilities can be paid. Final deal from joining voluntary works in Donbass will be made when volunteer candidate arrives to Donetsk and after interview.
Volunteers in Donbass are responsible to take care and pay them selfs of personal traveling documents, passports and visas and pay when traveling to Donetsk City and back to their homes. Those who have possibility to stay longer periods in volunteer works (+1 month) can receive free housing and meals by SDP and DONi organization.
SDP is launching different kind of voluntary working projects which can be done from all over the world. Tasks for SDP volunteers can include media campaigns, activist coordination, upkeeping information channels or organizing events. Our target is to grow ProDonbass movement!
By joining SDP voluntary missions in your own home country, you will be soon involved in growing international network, which tasks will be coordinated from Donetsk with local people.

‘The situation on the contact line remains tense’, said Vice-Commander of Donetsk Army Eduard Basurin on Wednesday. ‘In the shellings the enemy used heavy 122mm and 152mm artillery’, Basurin said.
The Ukrainian military violated the ceasefire thirty-three times and shelled the territory of the Republic a hundred and forty-eight times. In the shellings the enemy used 122mm and 152mm artillery three times, 120mm mortars twenty times, 82mm mortars a hundred and four times, as well as infantry fighting vehicles, grenade launchers and small arms.
The Ukrainian punitors fired from the localities of Pesky, Nevelskoye, Zhovanka and Opytnoye at the localities of Zaytsevo, Zhabichevo, Staromikhaylovka, the area of the airport, the Volvo Centre, the Kuybyshevsky and Petrovsky districts of the city of Donetsk. The shellings were carried out from the positions of the 14th and 93rd separate mechanised brigades under command of Zhakun and Klochkov.
The intelligence of the DPR Armed Forces keeps registering the concentration of the enemy’s weapons and military equipment near the contact line:
– In Krasnogorovka (3 km away from the contact line) there was registered the arrival of four 120mm motorised artillery systems “Nona-C”;
– In Dzerzhinsk (2 km away from the contact line) the was registered the transportation of four tanks;
– In Vesyolaya Dolina (12 km away from the contact line) there was registered the arrival of eleven infantry fighting vehicles.
Besides, according to the OSCE mission’s report, in the sites of the Ukrainian weapons and equipment storage the observers documented the absence of ten tanks.
The Ukrainian military and political authorities continue to carry out activities on the preparation for the offensive, which is indicated by the facts of transporting artillery and equipment to the contact line. Zhakun and Klochkov continue to compete on who will become a bloody hero of Ukraine, shelling civilians and residential areas. We can state as a fact that in the Kuibyshev district of Donetsk two civilians were wounded in the shellings. That’s how the “defenders of the Motherland” betray their moral foundations, maiming civilians.

Artillery of pro-Kiev militants hard shelled Donetsk in the evening yesterday. The city hospital, a large number of residential houses and infrastructure came under fire. There were many causalities among civilians. The clashes have been occurring around Donetsk Airport and Peski settlement. Additionally, Ukrainian forces attacked from the directions of Avdeevka, Mariinka. The town of Gorlovka was also shelled.
Intense clashes were occurring in the direction of Mariupol last night. The toe-to-toe fight with usage of small arms and mortars was around Lebedinskiy settlement. Ukrainian shelling and counter-battery fire of DPR Armed Forces were observed in the settlements of Stoganovka, Chermalik, Shirokino and Granitnoe.
The military situation in LPR has been growing more tense. The settlements of Popasnaya, Jelobok, Donetskiy and the sector of Stannica Luganskaya came under Ukrainian fire. The clashes were fixed in the sectors of Stannica Luganskaya, Bolotenoe and Bahmutka. Kiev’s side used 82 and 120 mm mortars and APCs.
As a result of the recent clashes Novorossian warriors destroyed 2 mortar batteries (8 mortars total), 1 battle tank and damaged 1 armored vehicle. 5 pro-Kiev militants were killed and 21 injured. Novorossian armed forces had 23 soldiers injured and 1 armored vehicle destroyed.
Another 100 US humvees for Ukraine were delivered to Odessa yesterday. The military equipment has already been seen moving to the frontline.
