Foreign Ministry statement on the rapidly deteriorating situation in Donbass — Jan. 31, 2017

Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation

31 January 2017

The situation in Donbass has deteriorated sharply in recent days. Ukrainian troops continue to conduct offensive operations to seize positions held by self-defence forces, including in the suburbs of Donetsk. Heavy weapons, including heavy artillery and multiple launch rocket systems, are being actively used to shell residential areas. According to Minsk Package of Measures of February 12, 2015, such weapons should long since have been withdrawn from the contact line. There are casualties and wounded among the civilian population. As a result of the shelling by Ukrainian troops, the Donetsk Filtration Station and the Avdeyevka Coke Chemical Plant have lost power. The lives of miners working in the mines are under threat.

We see southeastern Ukraine, which is already suffering from the economic blockade imposed by Kiev, again on the verge of a real humanitarian and environmental disaster.

All of this is a direct outcome of ongoing violations by Ukraine of its obligations under the Minsk agreements, which no one in Kiev intends to act on. Instead of efforts to achieve sustainable peace, the Ukrainian authorities are trying hard to achieve a military solution to the conflict. Everyone should remember what kind of outcome this kind of reckless behaviour has led to on previous occasions.

Strangely enough, every escalation of the situation in Donbass comes at a time when the Ukrainian leadership is away on a foreign trip. Clearly, this is an attempt to keep the crisis provoked by Kiev on the international agenda.

We urge the Ukrainian authorities to immediately put an end to the armed provocations in Donbass, comply with existing ceasefire agreements and begin, at long last, to responsibly fulfil all the provisions of the Minsk Package of Measures, including those relating to the political aspects of the existing problems.

We expect Ukraine’s partners to exert the necessary influence on Kiev to put an end to these efforts to turn the tables in Donbass and sink the Minsk agreements.

We expect a quick response on the part of the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission to Ukraine in order to de-escalate the situation as soon as possible.

Kiev fires BUK missile at OSCE observation drone; Ukraine’s lie exposed about anti-aircraft missiles when MH17 shot down (VIDEO)

Evidence indicates that MH-17 was shot down by cannon fire from UAF fighter jets. However, Kiev says any missile fired from the ground could not have come from government-controlled territory because they didn’t have such equipment there.
February 1, 2017 – Fort Russ News –
RusVesna – translated by J. Arnoldski –

NOTE from J. Arnoldski: Fort Russ guest analyst Dr. Eduard Popov has received confirmation of this report straight from Makeevka.

Yesterday evening, January 31st, the tail section of a BUK missile launched by the Ukrainian army from the outskirts of Avdeevka fell in the residential sector of the city of Makeevka.
The missile part fell right in the yard of a private home and caught fire.

Employees of the Ministry for Emergency Situations of the Donetsk People’s Republic arrived at the scene upon calls from local residents and extinguished the fire.
Russian Spring News would like to offer the following commentary:
At what target was this shot by such a Ukrainian anti-air defense complex which Ukraine has assured there are none of in the so-called Anti-Terrorist Operation zone in Donbass, and whose absence from the frontline is alleged to be the main reason why Ukraine couldn’t have shot down the Malaysian Boeing?
The target of the Ukrainian missile was a large unmanned aerial vehicle of the OSCE observatory mission which is recording Kiev’s genocide against the peaceful civilians of Donbass and is thereby seriously hindering the Ukrainian Armed Forces from executing the criminal orders of the Kiev authorities.
Let’s see how Ukraine will comment on the presence of the infamous BUK complex in the Avdeevka area which, as it has assured, there is no such thing in Donbass.

Microwave weapons being used by U.S. military/Kiev against Donbass? LPR leader Plotnitsky slams OSCE and EU for appeasing Kiev war criminals

Medics have reported a sharp increase in nerve and cardiovascular diseases in frontline cities and villages.

Certainly stress is a factor, but the electromagnetic and microwave weapons of the American military could be the main culprit. The U.S. government has even used them on American protesters, including at Standing Rock and Flint, Michigan.

From Fort Russ

January 28, 2017 – Fort Russ –
RusVesna – translated by J. Arnoldski –
The leader of the Lugansk People’s Republic, Igor Plotnitsky, has promised a harsh response to those guilty for shelling the republic. His statement has been issued by the LPR’s Ministry of Communications:
Unprovoked attacks on the territory of the Lugansk People’s Republic by armed groups controlled by Kiev have recently intensified and become more frequent. In the majority of cases, they are carried out with the use of arms that should be, as agreed upon in the Minsk Agreements, withdrawn from the demarcation line and remain under the control of the Special Monitoring Mission of the OSCE.

Moreover, these attacks are carried out with targeted, live ammunitions. As a result, almost every day peaceful civilians are killed and injured and houses and infrastructure are destroyed. Medics have reported a sharp increase in nerve and cardiovascular diseases in frontline cities and villages.

In connection with this, I declare the following with all liability: We will not succumb to provocations intended to give reason for accusing us of disrupting the Minsk peace agreements. But we will not let attacks go without consequences.

I have given instructions to relevant security agencies to conduct an investigation on the deliberate attacks on the territory of the Republic between January 24th and 27th as instances of actions of genocide, war crimes, and crimes against humanity. [I have also] given instructions to carry out operations to identify the direct perpetrators of these criminal attacks, the commanders giving their orders, and their relatives and criminal ties.

Our response will be carefully prepared, timely, asymmetrical, and undeniable. However, first and foremost, the Republic will take care of the victims of shellings by Kiev’s punitive forces.
I am confident that the responsibility for the bloodshed in Donbass lies with Poroshenko along with the OSCE and the leaders of Germany and France who are not taking advantage of opportunities to force the Kiev regime to make peace. The policy of appeasing the aggressor is an illusion that the flames of war can be deflected in only one direction. This already brought catastrophe to Europe once. I invite them to remember the lessons of the Second World War.

2400+ violations: full Donetsk front sit-rep

From Fort Russ

December 7, 2016 – Fort Russ News –
RusVesna – translated by J. Arnoldski –
Russian Spring is publishing a complete summary of the military situation in the Donetsk People’s Republic for December 6th-7th. The data was compiled following today’s briefing by the deputy commander of the republic’s operative command, Eduard Basurin.

Ceasefire violations
Over the past day, the number of ceasefire violations by Ukrainian militants has doubled, amounting to 2,453 violations in total
The enemy fired at the territory of the republic 114 times with artillery of 152 and 122 mm, 617 times with mortars of 120 and 82 mm, 8 tank shots, as well as 1240 shots from various types of grenade launchers. In addition, infantry fighting vehicles and small arms were also used.
The Ukrainian terrorists Gruzevich, Shaptal, Nikolyuk, Sokolov, and Delyatisky subjected the following residential areas of the republic to shelling: Vasilevka, Verkhnetoretskoe, Yasinovatya, Zhabichevo, Spartak, Aleksandrovka, Yasnoe, Elenovka, Dokuchaevsk, Kominternovo, Leninskoe, Oktyabr, Sakhanka, and Trudovskie in the Petrovsky district of the city of Donetsk.

Infrastructural damage
As a result of Ukrainian militants’ bombardments, three houses and a gas pipeline were damaged in Dokuchaevsk, and one house was damaged in the residential area of Staromikhailovka.
Also damaged were power lines in Elenovka, where more than 100 homes have been left without light. In Krutaya Balka, the Donetsk Filtration Station, which had only been working for two days before, has been left without electricity.
At the current time, measures are being taken to renew the supply of electricity and gas to the affected residential areas.

Troop movements
The DPR’s intelligence has continued to record the strengthening of UAF positions close to the contact line

In Karlovka (19 km from the contact line), the positions of four 152 mm towed Giatsint-B howitzers have been identified. In Galitsinovka (17 km from the contact line), the location of four 122mm self-propelled Gvozdika artillery systems have been noted. In Krasnogorovka (3 km from the contact line), the location of two 122 mm self-propelled Gvozdika artillery systems has been recorded. Finally, in Konstantinovka (12 km from the contact line), four 122 mm self-propelled Gvozdika artillery systems and two 152 mm towed Giatsint-B howitzers have arrived.
All information on violations of the Minsk Agreements has been sent to representatives of the Joint Center for Control and Coordination of the Ceasefire of the OSCE mission.

Foreign instructors
In the area of operation of the UAF’s 30th mechanized brigade, the presence of foreign instructors from Slovakia, who are directing tactical training for servicemen, has been noted. Judging by the increasing losses in UAF ranks, the foreign instructors are amateurs and do not receive full salaries.

Failed ‘offensives’
Over the past day alone, Ukrainian militants tried two times to break through our positions on the southern borders of the republic, namely, in the residential area of Vodyanoe, where they were repelled and driven back onto their territory with two killed and four wounded. On our side, one serviceman was wounded.

Conclusion

Thus, we can see that the Ukrainian military command is “with sheep persistence” continuing to send its people to slaughter despite knowing in advance the futility of such actions.

OSCE observers transport ammo to the UAF

UAF = Ukrainian Armed Forces = Kiev regime forces

From Fort Russ

Translated by Ollie Richardson for Fort Russ
10th May, 2016

Donetsk People’s Republic’s intelligence has discovered evidence that certain representatives of the OSCE observation mission are using company vehicles to transport ammunition to the positions of Ukrainian Army, according to the Deputy Commander of the operational command of the DPR Eduard Basurin.
“We ask the SMM OSCE to conduct an investigation into the violation by individual observers of the Charter of the international organization. In particular, representatives of the OSCE mission assisted in the transport, using official cars, of ammunition to the position of units of the 1st battalion of the 54th UAF brigade,” said the Deputy commander. Relevant information was obtained from reliable sources in the specified 54th brigade, he said.
“In addition, recently these same observers carried three 7.62 mm ammo boxes to the positions of the 1st battalion of the 54 brigade.”

OSCE confirms Elenovka shelling came from UAF direction

OSCE collecting more data and statistics, filing more reports for their masters.

From Fort Russ

April 28, 2016 –
Translated by J. Arnoldski
On April 28, the Special Monitoring Mission of the OSCE released a report which covered the circumstances of yesterday’s overnight shelling of the military checkpoint in Elenovka and drew conclusions as to from what direction the shelling came.

International observers reported that two craters from explosive shells were recorded at the place of the tragedy along with three damaged cars.

According to their analysis, the experts resolved that the shelling was fired from the West-Southwest (where UAF positions were located – Russian Spring), and that the guns fired were most likely 122 mm artillery.

In addition, the experts recorded traces of shell fragments on Moscow Street, three shells of which, as the analysis showed, were no less than 120 mm calibre and came from the West-Southwest direction.

A building near the shelled military checkpoint was also recored as being damaged and having holes the size of grapefruits caused by shrapnel.
International observers have summarized the details of those killed as a result of the shelling and the causes of their death. Two of the dead (one a male, the second body difficult to identify) were found in the first car burned and torn in half as a result of the shelling.

The driver of the second car died from severe head trauma.

The female passenger sitting in the back seat of the third car located 20 meters from the second was killed most likely by shrapnel.

The third car was riddled with shrapnel which, according to OSCE observers, was probably caused by one of the explosions

Fascists from Pravy Sektor barricade Greek delegation in their Odessa hotel

From the Greek newspaper Iskra. Picture was taken from inside the hotel. See video at end of source article.

Iskra
September 30, 2015
Translated from Greek by Tom Winter

Fascists of Right Sektor hold a Greek delegation barricaded in Odessa — Kostas Isychos, Nadia Valavani, Vassilis Hadjilambrou, Aris Hadjistefanou and the other members of the invited Greek delegation.

Wednesday morning a group from the Ukrainian Nazi organization “Right Sector” barricaded the Greek Mission in their hotel, the hotel “Duke” in the center of Odessa. The Greek delegation had been making contact with representatives of the Greek community there and the organization for Black Sea Ethnic Minorities.

The Greek mission includes the former Deputy Minister of Defence Costas Isuchos, the former Minister of Finance Nadia Valavani; the former Chairman of Foreign Affairs and Defence Claus Hadjilambrou and the journalist Aris Hajistefanou.

At this point officials of the Greek Consulate in Odessa and members of the OSCE mission in Ukraine are following developments.

The Greek mission came to Odessa at the invitation of the organization on Ethnic Minorities in Ukraine, and to meet with the Greek minority institutions to inquire into their problems and express support with the Hellenism of Ukraine.

By Wednesday morning, Ukrainian right-wing publications and websites were publishing diatribes against the Greek delegation, even to the point of accusing them of working for the dismemberment of Ukraine!

Speaking at the Athens agency, Nadia Valavani complained that members of the Ukrainian extreme right organization were constantly harassing them, insisting they “explain” why they are in Odessa.

“The right-wing extremists were telling us we are enemies of Ukraine,” Valavani said, adding that it is the first time that a foreign delegation has essentially put under guard by right-wing elements in Odessa.

Meanwhile, gradually towards noon, it became possible to evacuate the Greek delegation from the hotel through a crowd of Ukrainian fascist paramilitary groups, all wearing masks and holding provocative slogans and banners.

According to the same source, the Greek delegation was thus unable to make it to the main meeting with representatives of the Greek minority.  A guide, of Greek origin, for the Greek delegation had been arrested without cause the night before, by Ukrainian State Security.

Panagiotis Lafazanis, chief of the Popular Unity Party (Λαϊκή Ενότητα) denounced the arbitrary abuses against the Greek mission and informed Giannis Amanatidis, Deputy Foreign Minister responsible for issues of Greeks Abroad, of the unacceptable situation experienced by the Greek delegation and asked for the intervention of the Greek government on behalf of the diaspora in Ukraine.

Dirty tricks of the OSCE exposed

From Fort Russ

September 2nd, 2015
u-f.ru news – translated for Fort Russ by Joaquin Flores

Chairman of the National Council of the DPR, Andrew Purgin, revealed details in an interview with reporters, about the “cunning” practices of the OSCE mission in the territory of Donbass, writes the Federal News Agency.

According to Purgin, representative of the OSCE mission in the conflict zone have a much narrower mandate than what one may imagine.  “They have been at it a year and were allegedly trying to change things, but it does not change” – he said.

“They have such a mandate, that they cannot write, for example ‘there is a dead man’, and instead write ‘lay bodies’.  Nor can the OSCE write ‘from the Ukrainian side a heavy shell was launched’, but instead can only write ‘This or that caliber projectile flew in such and such direction to such and such point.'”, explains the head of the parliament of the DPR.

“Now, if you open the map and take a look at the direction, then you will understand that the projectile could have only flown in from the territory of Ukraine.  Howevver, the OSCE representatives have direct orders that they cannot write this”, says Purgin.

In addtiion, the OSCE mission, explains the Chairman, is also engaged in diverting press attention away from the real hot spots of Donbass and over to irrelevent subjects.

“For example, we are not interested in Shirokino.  This is an empty village, it is not important for anyone to see, and it is not of tactical or strategic importance.  But now Gorlovka is shelled. But the OSCE pulls the reporters, taking them to Shirokino. Instead they turn their attention to already destroyed places. ” said Purgin.

*Fort Russ note – here is a video from Essence of Time showing OSCE ‘observers’ … and outraged locals of Gorlovka who must clean up the mess of a recently destroyed school.

“Support MH17 Truth”; OSCE monitors identify “shrapnel and machine-like bullet holes” indicating shelling; no evidence of missile attack

By Prof Michel Chossudovsky
Global Research, July 29, 2015
Global Research 31 July 2014

This article was first published by GR on September 9, 2014. In the context of the July 29, 2015 United Nations Security Council Resolution vetoed by Russia, it should be emphasized that the evidence confirms that MH17 was not brought down by a surface to air missile.

The West accuses Russia and the Donbass separatists of having brought down the plane with a Buk missile. IT’S A LIE.

The evidence available in September 2014 –including a BBC report which the BBC decided to suppress– refutes the official story. The alleged role of Russia in bringing down the plane was used as a justification to implement the economic sanctions regime against Moscow.

Michel Chossudovsky, July 29, 2015

*     *     *

According to the report of German pilot and airlines expert Peter Haisenko, the MH17 Boeing 777 was not brought down by a missile.

What he observed from the available photos were perforations of the cockpit:

The facts speak clear and loud and are beyond the realm of speculation: The cockpit shows traces of shelling! You can see the entry and exit holes. The edge of a portion of the holes is bent inwards. These are the smaller holes, round and clean, showing the entry points most likely that of a 30 millimeter caliber projectile. (Revelations of German Pilot: Shocking Analysis of the “Shooting Down” of Malaysian MH17. “Aircraft Was Not Hit by a Missile” Global Research, July 30, 2014)

Based on detailed analysis Peter Haisenko reached  the conclusion that the MH17 was not downed by a missile attack:

This aircraft was not hit by a missile in the central portion. The destruction is limited to the cockpit area. Now you have to factor in that this part is constructed of specially reinforced material

The OSCE Mission

It is worth noting that the initial statements by OSCE observers (July 31) broadly confirm the findings of Peter Haisenko:

Monitors from the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe reported that shrapnel-like holes were found in two separate pieces of the fuselage of the ill-fated Malaysia Airlines aircraft that was believed to have been downed by a missile in eastern Ukraine.

Michael Bociurkiw of the OSCE group of monitors at his daily briefing described part of the plane’s fuselage dotted with “shrapnel-like, almost machine gun-like holes.” He said the damage was inspected by Malaysian aviation-security officials .(Wall Street Journal, July 31, 2014)

The monitoring OSCE team has not found evidence of a missile fired from the ground as conveyed by official White House statements. As we recall, the US ambassador to the UN Samantha Power stated –pointing a finger at Russia– that the Malaysian MH17 plane was “likely downed by a surface-to-air missile operated from a separatist-held location”:

The team of international investigators with the Organisation for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) are uncertain if the missile used was fired from the ground as US military experts have previously suggested, the Wall Street Journal (WSJ) reported. (Malay Mail online, emphasis added)

The initial OSCE findings tend to dispel the claim that a BUK missile system brought down the plane.

Evidently, inasmuch as the perforations are attributable to shelling, a shelling operation conducted from the ground could not have brought down an aircraft traveling above 30,000 feet.

Ukraine Su-25 military aircraft within proximity of MH17

Peter Haisenko’s study is corroborated by the Russian Ministry of Defense which pointed to a Ukrainian Su-25 jet in the flight corridor of the MH17, within proximity of the plane.

Ironically, the presence of a military aircraft is also confirmed by a BBC  report conducted at the crash site on July 23.

All the eyewitnesses  interviewed by the BBC confirmed the presence of a Ukrainian military aircraft flying within proximity of Malaysian Airlines MH17 at the time that it was shot down:

Eyewitness #1: There were two explosions in the air. And this is how it broke apart. And [the fragments] blew apart like this, to the sides. And when …

Eyewitness #2: … And there was another aircraft, a military one, beside it. Everybody saw it.

Eyewitness #1: Yes, yes. It was flying under it, because it could be seen. It was proceeding underneath, below the civilian one.

Eyewitness #3: There were sounds of an explosion. But they were in the sky. They came from the sky. Then this plane made a sharp turn-around like this. It changed its trajectory and headed in that direction [indicating the direction with her hands].

BBC Report below

The original BBC Video Report published by BBC Russian Service on July 23, 2014 has since been removed from the BBC archive.

In a bitter irony, The BBC is censoring its own news productions.

This is the BBC Report, still available on Youtube

Media Spin

The media has reported that a surface to air missile was indeed fired and exploded before reaching its target.  It was not the missile that brought down the plane, it was the shrapnel resulting from the missile explosion (prior to reaching the plane) which punctured the plane and then led to a loss of pressure.

According to Ukraine’s National security spokesman Andriy Lysenko in a contradictory statement, the MH17 aircraft “suffered massive explosive decompression after being hit by a shrapnel missile.”  (See IBT, Australia)

In an utterly absurd report, the BBC quoting the official Ukraine statement  says that:

The downed Malaysia Airlines jet in eastern Ukraine suffered an explosive loss of pressure after it was punctured by shrapnel from a missile.

They say the information came from the plane’s flight data recorders, which are being analysed by British experts.

However, it remains unclear who fired a missile, with pro-Russia rebels and Ukraine blaming each other.

Many of the 298 people killed on board flight MH17 were from the Netherlands.

Dutch investigators leading the inquiry into the crash have refused to comment on the Ukrainian claims.

“Machine Gun Like Holes”

The shrapnel marks should be distinguished from the small entry and exit holes “most likely that of a 30 millimeter caliber projectile” fired from a military aircraft. These holes could not have been caused by a missile explosion as hinted by the MSM.

While the MSN is saying that the “shrapnel like holes” can be caused by a missile (see BBC report above), the OSCE has confirmed the existence of what it describes as “machine gun like holes”, without however acknowledging that these cannot be caused by a missile.

In this regard, the GSh-302 firing gun operated by an Su-25 is able to fire 3000 rpm which explains the numerous entry and exit holes.

According to the findings of Peter Haisenko:

If we now consider the armament of a typical SU 25 we learn this: It is equipped with a double-barreled 30-mm gun, type GSh-302 / AO-17A, equipped with: a 250 round magazine of anti-tank incendiary shells and splinter-explosive shells (dum-dum), arranged in alternating order. The cockpit of the MH 017 has evidently been fired at from both sides: the entry and exit holes are found on the same fragment of it’s cockpit segment (op cit)

The accusations directed against Russia including the sanctions regime imposed by Washington are based on a lie.

The evidence does not support the official US narrative to the effect that the MH17 was shot down by a BUK missile system operated by the DPR militia.

What next? More media disinformation, more lies?

OSCE and EU are complicit in Kiev regime war crimes and lies

“Their reports were full of schematics, photos, testimony of the locals and video materials. All this put together should have, at minimum, proven the criminal essence of the Kiev regime and put on trial at the international tribunal several hundred Ukrainian military men and politicians who gave criminal orders. But the observers returned to Europe and once again an uneasy silence hung in the air. No one demanded to hold accountable the military men shelling peaceful cities, no one called on Poroshenko to cease the inhumane punishing operation and not a single European leader called for sanctions to be imposed against Ukraine at war with its own people.”

What exactly is the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe doing?

OSCE ignored the latest round of bills approved by Ukraine’s Verkovna Rada that completely violate Minsk II, which include allowing more United States and Polish military into the country (Minsk II requires that foreign troops leave).

OSCE is doing nothing about the assault begun last week by the Ukrainian government forces against East Ukraine.

OSCE keeps recording and taking notes.

In November, Radio Free Europe attacked OSCE, accusing it of being pro-Russian, citing supposed Ukrainian public lack of confidence, decrying the absence of Ukrainians as observers, completely missing that Ukrainian-Canadian Michael Bociurkiw is the spokesman for the OSCE mission.

It was a psy-ops piece, bullying OSCE, making it clear that fact-finding and assigning blame to the Kiev regime would not be tolerated. Especially after Bociurkiw  talked about machine gun-like bullet holes in the MH17 fusilage in July.

OSCE monitors make notes, take photos, and then send this back to Kiev and the EU. And nothing changes.

Silence of the Lambs
by Alexey Zotyev
March 22, 2015

And that is why the global community has founded several collegial organizations whose purpose is to monitor the adherence to human rights and main freedoms. Conventions signed by heads of most states guarantee a peaceful sky over our heads, make the rights of simple people a priority in any act and declare comprehensive protection of our rights in the event they are grossly violated. One such organization that is a watchdog of human rights is the OSCE – the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe. OSCE unites countries throughout Europe and beyond and includes 57 states as its permanent members. It would seem that this is a good argument in the fight for peace throughout the world…

The first time I personally encountered OSCE observers was at the end of the spring or beginning of the summer in 2014, a year very memorable for all of us. Concerned with the combatting near the Russian border, they walked about Rostov Region, or more exactly, the town of Donetsk [Russia], and recorded Ukrainian munitions hitting Russian territory. Their faces serious and concerned, citizens of problem-free Europe wearing vests appropriate to their status measured craters and examined the consequences of shelling. Being completely normal people, they expressed sincere indignation at the ease with which the Ukrainian military not only shelled their own peaceful cities, but periodically also shelled residential blocks of the town of Donetsk in Rostov Region. The OSCE observers studied the burned roofs of Russian homes and brick pieces knocked out from walls and at that time I thought that in the nearest future everything will change drastically. I honestly expected that the reports written as a result of objective investigations will create a commotion in the European Union and will open eyes for inhabitants of the Old World to the crimes committed by official Kiev. I was greatly surprised when, after returning home, the observers did practically nothing. The reports turned out vague and all the blatant facts of crimes against peaceful folks, Russian as well as Ukrainian, simply disappeared from the pages of the reports. An awkward silence took over the corridors of the OSCE…

Further on, I encountered the “silent” OSCE representatives throughout practically all of the Donbass territory. They wandered around the Boeing that was shot down, they examined houses and bus stops that were subject to shelling, they even went to the front lines to document facts of the peace agreements being violated. These worthy people reacted very quickly to what was happening and were practically the first on location at places where military crimes had been committed. Their reports were full of schematics, photos, testimony of the locals and video materials. All this put together should have, at minimum, proven the criminal essence of the Kiev regime and put on trial at the international tribunal several hundred Ukrainian military men and politicians who gave criminal orders. But the observers returned to Europe and once again an uneasy silence hung in the air. No one demanded to hold accountable the military men shelling peaceful cities, no one called on Poroshenko to cease the inhumane punishing operation and not a single European leader called for sanctions to be imposed against Ukraine at war with its own people.

At certain times, I am overwhelmed by a wave of fury so alien to me, and I want to board a plane, fly to Europe and go to the main square of one of the capitals and scream “People! What are you doing?” I want to put so much sense and images into this short scream so that each European who is in the blast area stops and finally opens his eyes. I am tired of their long-lasting silence, their blindness and deafness. I am tired of the one-sided position of the European leaders. I am tired of the constant waiting for another world war…

In my understanding, a person who has witnessed a crime and hides facts about it is at minimum an accomplice. International law is of the same opinion. The silent observers from the OSCE who readily and with pleasure frisk Russian humanitarian aid convoys and search for Russian tanks along the border, but at the same time stay silent about the thousands of killed civilians and dozens of destroyed residential towns and villages, are without exaggeration accomplices to these inhumane crimes. Instead of documenting military crimes of the Kiev regime and demanding that those responsible be held accountable, they are covering up for the criminals, intentionally hiding or distorting facts. Where they need to scream, they are silent. And the organization itself, as well as the people of the member countries, will in the end pay dearly for this silence. Those who are growing a new fascist regime at their side are mistaken when they think that they will be able to control this regime.

The European political elite are so busy forming the image of Russia as an enemy and aggressor, that they have completely forgotten about such things as objectivity and justice. Today, they are intentionally transmitting lies to their public with just one goal – to please the USA. They hold so sacred the interests of the superpower, that they often put them above the interests of their own people. It is specifically this process, an irreversible process, that has given birth to the silent observers in white vests, who see everything, understand everything, but cannot say anything.

If someone thinks that the OSCE representatives do their work well, and are fulfilling their mission with honor, let them tell me the answer to one simple question – where were the OSCE representatives when an armored vehicle of the Ukrainian Armed Forces ran over a woman with two children? Why did no one condemn the drunken soldiers killing a woman and her eight year old daughter who died under the caterpillars of a multi-purpose light armored hauler? Why didn’t anyone voice a reproach of the national guard fighters shooting automatic weapons above heads of indignant people who came to the administrative buildings in Konstantinovka with only one goal – to demand that the murderers be held accountable? And moreover, none of the OSCE observers drew parallels between behavior of the fighters of the Ukrainian Armed Forces and behavior of soldiers from Nazi Germany on occupied territory! They are silent again…

Everyone is silent. They are silent when we are trying to scream of the tens of thousands of innocent victims and thousands of destroyed homes. They are silent when we talk about firebombs and cluster bombs being showered down on women, old people and children. They are silent when we accent attention on torture behind Kiev’s walls. They are not silent only when there is talk of mythical separatists, terrorists and Russian military aggression. During such moments even the most timid display high oratory skills. When watching these convulsions of reason one wants to understand – are they doing this because they are submissively listening to America or because they are scared mindless of Russia?
