Intensifying attacks on Donbass, Poroshenko requested help compiling evidence of Russian aggression for Munich speech

Novorosinform reports this: President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko ordered to prepare “evidence” of shelling from the Donbass and Russian side for an accusation against Moscow during his speech at the Munich Security Conference. This was announced by the head of the press service of the People’s Police of the DPR, Daniel Bezsonov.

“According to the information we have, Poroshenko ordered the command of the occupying forces to prepare for him a false evidence base, which he could use to initiate new sanctions against the Russian Federation during his speech at the Munich Security Conference. As conceived by puppeteers from Washington, Poroshenko should appear before the world community in the form of an “innocent lamb,” he said.

“We express our sincere hope that the leadership of the OSCE will not go in the wake of Poroshenko and his owners, but will strictly follow the unshakable European principles and impartially fulfill their functional duties,” the head of the press service of the DPR army added.

Recall that as a result of today’s shelling by the Armed Forces of Ukraine against the DPR, three houses, a gas pipeline and a car are damaged. Yesterday in Donbass, two Right Sector and Azov platoons   arrived.

Dirty tricks of the OSCE exposed

From Fort Russ

September 2nd, 2015
u-f.ru news – translated for Fort Russ by Joaquin Flores

Chairman of the National Council of the DPR, Andrew Purgin, revealed details in an interview with reporters, about the “cunning” practices of the OSCE mission in the territory of Donbass, writes the Federal News Agency.

According to Purgin, representative of the OSCE mission in the conflict zone have a much narrower mandate than what one may imagine.  “They have been at it a year and were allegedly trying to change things, but it does not change” – he said.

“They have such a mandate, that they cannot write, for example ‘there is a dead man’, and instead write ‘lay bodies’.  Nor can the OSCE write ‘from the Ukrainian side a heavy shell was launched’, but instead can only write ‘This or that caliber projectile flew in such and such direction to such and such point.'”, explains the head of the parliament of the DPR.

“Now, if you open the map and take a look at the direction, then you will understand that the projectile could have only flown in from the territory of Ukraine.  Howevver, the OSCE representatives have direct orders that they cannot write this”, says Purgin.

In addtiion, the OSCE mission, explains the Chairman, is also engaged in diverting press attention away from the real hot spots of Donbass and over to irrelevent subjects.

“For example, we are not interested in Shirokino.  This is an empty village, it is not important for anyone to see, and it is not of tactical or strategic importance.  But now Gorlovka is shelled. But the OSCE pulls the reporters, taking them to Shirokino. Instead they turn their attention to already destroyed places. ” said Purgin.

*Fort Russ note – here is a video from Essence of Time showing OSCE ‘observers’ … and outraged locals of Gorlovka who must clean up the mess of a recently destroyed school.

Silenzio totale dell’Occidente sui bambini uccisi nel Donbass

Sputnik

14.08.2015
Tatiana Santi

Ennio Bordato, presidente dell'Associazione Aiutateci a salvare i bambini

Ennio Bordato, presidente dell’Associazione “Aiutateci a salvare i bambini”

L’Associazione Aiutateci a Salvare i Bambini Onlus

L’Associazione Aiutateci a Salvare i Bambini Onlus

Kiev launches massive battle-tank shelling in Donbass, NATO military exercise in Czech Republic directed against Russia

Originally from South Front.info

Ukraine’s armed forces have started massive battle-tank shelling of Donetsk, Gorlovka and Dokuchaevsk. The positions of Donetsk People’s Republic militia along the whole frontline are under shelling. Furthermore, serious clashes are ongoing in the settlement of Shirokino near Mariupol. One fighter from DPR forces has been killed. The crew of REN TV channel also came under fire.

NATO and Czech Republic soldiers took part in a drill called “Noble Jump” at the airport in Pardubice, Czech Republic on Thursday. This is an initial exercise and first test of its new rapid response force that NATO says is designed to “face new challenges from Russia”. Some experts believe the drill is offensive rather than defensive, and is actually preparation for a first-strike against Russia. But the most important point is that “Noble Jump” started in the Czech Republic while the US-backed Kiev government began massive shelling in the Donbass region.

Ukraine’s prosecutors reactivated an investigation launched against oligarch Igor Kolomoisky 10 years ago, the country’s Prosecutor-General Viktor Shokin said in an interview with LB.ua news portal on Friday. The 2005 criminal case accused Kolomoisky of masterminding an attack on lawyer Sergey Karpenko amid a conflict over the Dneprospetsstal plant in the city of Zaporizhia in southeastern Ukraine, one of the leading producers of special steels and alloys in Europe. Lawyer Karpenko was stabbed three times, but survived the attack and was later forced to leave the country. Shokin, who was deputy Prosecutor-General at that time, oversaw the investigation. The war between Poroshenko and Kolomoisky, the two most powerful oligarchs of Ukraine, is continuing with renewed vigor.

Secretary of the NSDC of Ukraine Oleksandr Turchynov has stated that Kiev has ability of creating a “dirty” atomic bomb. “We will use all available resources, even for creating a successful weapon,” he said. He stressed that the most important thing is that the weapon was successful. “What is there: dirty or clean, is a scientific and technical issue”. Russian Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Rogozin’s reaction on this was short. Moron.

A Syrian government delegation has agreed to proposals set forth by Russian mediators during the second round of talks held in Moscow this week to resolve the Syrian civil war, a source familiar with ongoing negotiations told ITAR-TASS on Wednesday. According to the source, the agenda proposed by the Russian side and approved by Syria includes: assessing the current situation, uniting national forces to confront challenges including terrorism, and building trust between the opposition and civil society. In addition, the source said Moscow’s plan outlines the establishment of a political process as well as phased steps in the framework of a national reconciliation program.

Ukrainegate: U.S. and NATO weapons in Ukraine

From Oriental Review, February 19,2015

Initially it seemed surprising that on the first day of the negotiations marathon in Minsk a bill to “provide lethal weapons to the Government of Ukraine in order to defend itself against Russian-backed rebel separatists in eastern Ukraine” would be introduced in the US Congress. However, it soon became clear that its sponsor, Sen. James Inhofe (left), simply harbors no illusions about his Ukrainian partners’ competence or ability to comply with their obligations. He understands that Kiev will inevitably violate the cease-fire and that Washington will soon have to explain why the militias in the devastated region of what is known as the “Debaltsevo cauldron” are in possession of such a vast number of captured weapons originating from NATO countries.

And there can be no doubts whatsoever that this will happen. The militia continues to provide documented evidence of Kiev’s use of NATO-standard weapons, such as Paladin M109 self-propelled howitzers, portable Javelin anti-tank weapons systems, and small arms (M16 rifles and much more).

Video taken in Gorlovka on Feb.1, 2015. Life News reports that the Christian cathedral in the centre of town was shelled by 155mm cannons of a US-made Paladin howitzer.

Video taken at Donetsk airport on Jan 18, 2015 presenting piles of NATO light weapons left by the Ukrainian soldiers.

Ukrainian TV report (Sept 2014) on Western military assistance to Ukraine. Javelin anti-tank weapons and other systems presented.

The age and condition of these weapons suggests that the West is simply selling Ukraine military equipment that was already destined for the recycling bin. For example, Britain first produced its Saxon armored personnel carriers in 1983, and they were removed from service in 2008. Now they are being shipped through the port of Odessa to the company Ukroboronprom, which will adapt them to the needs of the Ukrainian army. The Ukrainian government is spending about $51,000 on each Saxon AT-105. It is worth noting that due to the all-out crisis situation there, the Ukrainians have vetoed the idea of producing their own Dozor-B armored carrier.

According to official statistics, before 2007 the German army possessed 570 M109 Paladin self-propelled howitzers. But not a single one remains. Where do you think those tanks went? The answer is simple – in December 2014, Ukrainian officials suddenly closed the airports in Dnepropetrovsk, Zaporozhye, and Kharkov because of the ostensible threat of Russian paratroopers (!), while several of NATO’s C-17B Globemaster and C-130 Hercules military transport planes landed there. Eyewitnesses in Zaporozhye and Dnepropetrovsk saw four self-propelled Paladin howitzers (and boxes of their ammunition) being unloaded. Witnesses in Kharkov claim two RomanianLAROM MLRS and a Spanish Teruel-3 were transported there.

Military convoys that have been regularly crossing the Polish-Ukrainian border since the summer of 2014 are arriving at the 169th Training Center of the Ukrainian ground forces in the Chernihiv region, where instructors from NATO countries are conducting workshops with soldiers serving in Ukraine’s security forces, in order to train them on NATO weapons and equipment.

Polish General Bogusław Pacek is leading the group of NATO advisers in Ukraine since September 2014.

The incompetence of the Ukrainian army, as well as the question of provisioning them, is a very serious problem. NATO weapons systems are difficult to operate and require large quantities of the proper ammunition, which is not manufactured in Ukraine. But channels for delivering such ammunition to Ukraine have already been established. For example, in early February the cargo ship Yasar Abi sailed from Burgas (Bulgaria) to the port of Oktyabrsk (the Mykolaiv region, Ukraine) carrying a load of 680 tons of NATO and old Soviet ammunition.

So Senator Inhofe’s bill is not about rendering military assistance to the puppet government in Kiev, but is rather a way to legitimize the shipments that are already being sent. As usual, only the most aged, decrepit weapons are ending up in the region where the anti-terror operation is underway – meaning that Ukrainian officials are re-exporting everything that is worthy of resale to third countries, including Syria. No one can guarantee that the weapons that will pass to Ukraine legally will not soon be used against America’s interests in global hot spots. However, it seems that this threat is the last thing on the minds of US senators.

 Update #1 Feb 20, 2015; 4pm msk:

Militias in Debaltsevo after liberation of the city. DNR and LNR fighters came upon a large number of weapons left by retreating Ukrainian military, American armored Humvee vehicle among them.

Three children killed in a direct hit on Gorlovka home

From Fort Russ

February 12, 2015
Lifenews

Translated by Kristna Rus
Eduard Basurin, deputy corps commander of Ministry of Defense of Donetsk People’s Republic:
“A very big tragedy happened today, a tragedy for the entire Republic. At 20:30 an artillery shelling of the city began. As a result of which, there was a direct hit on a residential house, where there were three children: a one year old boy, a 6 year old girl, and a 12 year old girl. They all died on the spot.
During the meeting in Minsk, when the signing of ceasefire memorandum was taking place, when the ink has not yet dried on that document, this tragedy happened.
This shows the fallacy of those authorities who are now in Kiev. They are inhuman. There is no other word for it.
They are not Nazis, they are not fascists, it is something worse. To express what each of us is feeling right now… The deaths of these children, who were at the beginning of their life, who were just beginning to discover the beauty of life…
Gorlovka was under fire for 40 minutes. There may be more victims. Currently emergency crews are working on clearing the rubble, and we will tell you the latest information in the morning.”
PS Elsewhere it was reported that the mother of the children was at the home, and survived…

Order from Kiev: “Break Donetsk at any cost.”

January 27, 2015
Translated from Russian by Tom Winter
The massive heavy artillery shelling on Donetsk has resumed. In several districts of the city natural gas lines and electric substations are now out of service. Dozens more homes are without power and heat. Dokuchaevsk and Gorlovka are under intense fire. Many wounded, mostly peaceful citizens. At the Donetsk Peoples Republic (DNR) they have no doubt that Kiev is intent on aggravating the situation to the limit, and on striking the most vulnerable.
Explosions are constantly heard, with fresh craters from the incoming shells. Close by, the roof of a house that people were still living in. The outskirts of the town are being systematically destroyed by artillery fire. There are dead and injured: the wounded are constantly being brought into hospitals, most with shrapnel wounds.
“Incoming. Unmistakeably from the Ukrainian side. Yesterday the rockets were flying in from the area between Yasnovatya and Makeevka. You could see the projectiles flying in. Multiple rocket launchers definitely, all with exhaust trails, all plain to see.” —Vladimir Alekseev.
The Ukrainian firing zone is constantly increasing. Reports of new bombardment come in every hour.
A woman in the street: “Right next to our house it came. Right next to our house. Roof, Bam! The trolleys have stopped running; we go by foot now. No public transit.”
“Isn’t walking more dangerous?”
“And where can you get to? All the same, we are still alive.”
Even as the infrastructure is being destroyed, repair crews are already at work, fixing gas and electric lines. “We live here. We keep  the city working,” says Alexander Kigol, repairman from the city gasworks.
“In spite of the continuing attacks?”
“Yes!” replies Mr. Kigol.
Many have gotten used to the mortal danger. After a strike on a residential building on Ochakovski Street, the residents return to their ruined apartment. The roof is gone. Life here without repair will be impossible. The woman from the ruined apartment says “My neighbor says two shells just came in on the other side.”
The people run in short dashes from home to the store. Since a shell may come in at any minute, it is safer to run alongside a wall. This is Gorlovka, and this is what it’s like to live here.
Throughout Gorlovka the Ukrainian forces have attacked with heavy weapons, destroying homes and ruining the streets. At the crossroads, a crater from a “Hurricane” rocket system [see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/BM-27_Uragan — Tr.] The hole is as deep as a man’s height. Useless for 500 meters. The people are afraid of new bombardments, and hide themselves in basements.
The Donetsk Prime Minister Alexander Zakharchenko has arrived in the city, which lies entirely within the destructive zone of Ukrainian artillery. But at least now it is easier to get to it from Donetsk. Since the DNR got the town of Krasniy Partisan, the short road has become clear.
“We’re running short on medicine; it’s hard to keep the hospitals supplied. You have to understand, there are still peaceful citizens here, and pills for internal and cardiac problems are needed, in addition to those medicines that are used to treat the wounded,” said the Prime Minister.
“The DNR militia is counter-attacking trying to drive the Ukrainian forces far enough away, out of range, so that the people can be safe. We have something to fight for.”
“The Donetsk Republic’s army is being restocked with captured trophies. They hit a BMP-2, and are using it for parts; they got a T-64 tank at the airport, damaged, but they’ve repaired it. It will soon be at the front, but now it’s just in the Donetsk tank brigade. Ukrainian forces stormed the Donetsk position there, but were repulsed, and took casualties. The combat continues at the front, as forces controlled by Kiev are attempting to strengthen the economic blockade of the region.”
“The economic blockade is in effect along the whole border, and is contrary to every stipulation of the Minsk accords. Functional checkpoints? No. The transport of any food supply? Stopped. Passenger traffic? No.” explains the Vice premier Denis Pushilin.
No let-up in the intensity of Ukrainian artillery fire on neighborhoods, ever striking deeper, even into the rear of the Donetsk Republic, including industrial zones. January 26, they got the mines, the mines at Skochinski, Abakumov, Trudovski. And at the Zasyadki mine, they got the power station, trapping about 600 miners underground.
