Meeting with Students at the Mining University

Excerpts from transcript of meeting with students at the Mining University

Highlights regarding Ukraine:

Regrettably, the government in Kiev has refused to take the road of a peaceful settlement and does not want to resolve the problem through political means. First they used the law enforcement agencies, then the security services, and then the army. Later, when they ran up against resistance, they suspended military operations, but sadly, they only used the temporary peace to regroup and then start their operations again. They are pursuing these operations again now. Thousands of people have already been killed. This is certainly a real tragedy.

We often speak of the ‘Ukrainian army’, but who is doing the fighting there in reality? Yes, in part it is official armed forces units, but a substantial part of those doing the fighting come from the so-called volunteer nationalist battalions. Essentially, this is not an army but is a foreign legion, in this particular case, a NATO foreign legion, which is not pursuing Ukraine’s national interests of course. They have completely different goals, related to achieving their geopolitical aim of containing Russia, and this is absolutely not in the Ukrainian people’s national interests.

Unfortunately though, we have the situation we see before us now. We need to help the people there. Incidentally, many people are trying to get out of being called up for duty. Some are trying to come here to Russia and wait things out a while here, and they are right to do this because there, they are simply being sent as cannon fodder to face the bullets. The problem is though, that under the new law, Ukrainian citizens cannot spend more than 30 days at a time in Russia. So they go back home and get caught and sent off again to face the bullets. We will therefore probably make some changes. Within the law’s provisions, we could increase the amount of time certain categories of people, above all people of conscript age, can stay in Russia.

Full transcript:

PRESIDENT OF RUSSIA VLADIMIR PUTIN: Good afternoon, congratulations on yesterday’s holiday, the day we traditionally celebrate as Students Day.

It was a pleasure to be shown around your university. You have plenty to be proud of here of course. I think that you all see and understand this for yourselves. The level of your professors and teachers, the university’s equipment, and the whole way the teaching process is organised are all things you can be proud of.

It is good to see that we have universities of this level in the engineering field. This is particularly important for Russia. It is important in any country of course, but especially for Russia with its immense territory and mineral resources. This is excellent to see and I congratulate you on this.

RESPONSE: Thank you.

VLADIMIR PUTIN: I thought today was an ordinary day, but you are still celebrating the holiday.

FIRST VICE-RECTOR OF THE MINING UNIVERSITY NATALIA PASHKEVICH: The latest round of exams has just ended and the break has begun. The postgraduates have come back from their internships. The students have just finished their exams and so they have reasons to celebrate.

Today, the board of trustees and the FosAgro Company handed over a new student dormitory building to us.

RECTOR OF THE MINING UNIVERSITY VLADIMIR LITVINENKO: What’s more, a programme totalling nearly 800 million rubles provided by companies taking an active part in its implementation has been approved for this year.

Last year, we took possession of 50,000 square metres, the construction of which was funded by extra-budgetary sources, by companies. For every ruble spent, we earn 1.2 rubles for the budget.

Many postgraduates have returned from internships and presented their reports today.

NATALIA PASHKEVICH: They were in Germany, France and Poland.

VLADIMIR PUTIN: You have a big programme of work.

NATALIA PASHKEVICH: Yes, we do. We are working with the Finns on a double-diploma programme, and with the French, the Germans, and the Austrians.

VLADIMIR PUTIN: The rector spoke about this. You are working in the interests of Russian companies, and in foreign companies’ interests too?

NATALIA PASHKEVICH: In foreign companies’ interest too. The Austrians, French and Canadians have all taken on our graduates.

VLADIMIR LITVINENKO: But they do come back to Russia, Mr President. For example, we have graduates who are going to Norway and returning home again.

NATALIA PASHKEVICH: Many of our graduates are working in companies’ representative offices here in Russia.

VLADIMIR LITVINENKO: These ones were in Houston, for example.

RESPONSE: We were happy to come back.

VLADIMIR PUTIN: Where were you, at what institution?

RESPONSE: At Houston College of Technology. We did a general internship there, attended lectures and visited companies so as to pass on the knowledge to our own students, improve our training and maybe bring back some innovations and latest developments.

VLADIMIR PUTIN: This should continue because our education system needs to be an organic part of the global education system. This is the only way to maintain our level, get a sense of what our partners are doing, develop the main areas ourselves and exchange information. This is all very important and should continue. We will do this of course.

<…>

QUESTION: Mr President, Donetsk National Technical University has been the Mining University’s partner for many years now. We have friends there, students who are taking part in our annual international forum and competition, Problems of Mineral Resource Use. Sadly, because of the events in Ukraine, they have hardly been able to study of late.

VLADIMIR PUTIN: Classes have stopped there?

RESPONSE: When there is bombing, the classes get cancelled, then they start again, but there is not really any proper teaching process going on there at the moment. The students in Donetsk place their hopes on your personal help and we and the Donetsk students all want to thank you for the great attention you have been giving these matters. Would you be able to help the students in Donetsk? Perhaps it’s possible to do something.

VLADIMIR PUTIN: This is a very painful issue you have brought up here, one that concerns the serious and tragic events in Ukraine. Essentially, a civil war is underway there. I think that many in Ukraine understand this very well now.

Regarding your question, of course we need to help the students. We would have to ask the rector about the possibilities, but you could make use of distance learning technology, invite them here for internships, and simply come up with a support system for them.

VLADIMIR LITVINENKO: We would be able to take up to 1,000 students here for six months or a year at least, but there would be issues to sort out with the Ministry and the Government, so close coordination would be needed.

VLADIMIR PUTIN: I will definitely talk to them.

VLADIMIR LITVINENKO: I know that the South Russian State Polytechnic University in Novocherkassk could take students and has the needed dormitory facilities and so forth. We could take them at least temporarily.

VLADIMIR PUTIN: Last year, we allocated… (Addressing Presidential Aide Andrei Fursenko) How many places in our universities did we allocate to students from Ukraine last year? We allocated additional budget-subsidised places in 18 Russian universities. Your partners from the Donetsk institute could of course get support from your university, one of our country’s top universities. Let’s think about how to go about it. We do need to help the students.

Hillary Clinton paid Amnesty International to prepare coup d’état in Eritrea

Posted on Veterans Today, January 7, 2015

By Kevin Barrett, Veterans Today Editor, with a report from Thomas C. Mountain

Introduction:
As the American people slide deeper into bankruptcy, their government continues to spend billions to overthrow foreign governments and destabilize or destroy foreign nations. Victoria Nuland’s confession that US taxpayers had contributed 5 billion dollars to overthrow the democratically-elected Ukrainian government, and incite a civil war designed to destroy that country, was just the tip of the iceberg.

And it gets worse. We now have smoking-gun proof that the State Department under Hillary Clinton  corrupted the world’s biggest human rights organization, Amnesty International, by paying it to conduct ultra-secret CIA-style destabilization operations to pave the way for a coup d’état in Eritrea.

That means Amnesty International (AI), a self-styled “human rights” organization, is actually a covert arm of the New World Order effort to enslave the world and put an end to anything remotely resembling human rights. These people won’t be satisfied until every human is microchipped at birth and subjected to remote-control torture every time their thoughts even begin to turn against Big Brother.

Memo to AI: If you really support human rights, you should be waging an all-out war against the New World Order and its Euro-American bankster puppets, using every weapon at your disposal. And you should be willing to give your life to defend the independence of countries like Eritrea.

From now on, anyone working for AI should be assumed to be a covert NWO intelligence agent aimed at destroying whatever nation they’re operating in. And they should be treated as such.

Many Americans would be hard-pressed to find Eritrea on a map. But the small African country occupies a critically-important geostrategic location: the spot where the Red Sea meets the Indian Ocean. Even more important, Eritrea has set an example for other African countries by insisting on independence from the US-bankster empire.

Listen to me interviewing journalist André Vltchek on why the banksters want to overthrow Eritrea and install yet another US-puppet regime

So far, the people of Eritrea have successfully resisted the bankster empire’s efforts to enslave them.  Let’s hope and pray they continue to succeed in 2015!

Bombshell Linking Amnesty, HRW to US State Dept Regime Change in Africa

by Thomas C. Mountain

Secret internal correspondence from Amnesty International has been published detailing a plan to instigate regime change in the small east African country of Eritrea funded by a grant from the US State Department under then Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.

This is not a new charge, having first come to my attention in the fall of 2011 when a journalist in London called me one morning asking for my comments on a press conference by Amnesty International denying charges that the Eritrean government was supposed to have made that Amnesty and HRW had been involved in sending a secret mission to Eritrea in an attempt to destabilize the government.

The problem was the Eritrean government had not made any such charges, at least not that I had heard of. Operating on the maxim made immortal by Claude Cockburn, father of the Cockburn clan of intrepid journalists, that “Never believe anything until it has been officially denied” I set off in search for more on this story.

It wasn’t until that evening that Eritrean TV broke the story with excerpts from the Amnesty International document they claimed to have. The next night EriTV broadcast more highlights from the document and then the story just disappeared. It seemed that the curtain had dropped on another episode in the rancorous relations between the Eritrean government and the human rights corporations. Left with nothing hard to go on I could only file this one in the “hope to follow up on someday” file.

Now, three years later, the letter has been published and it really is a bombshell.

“Our intended goal is that by December of this year [2011] the regime of [Eritrean President] Issayas Aferwerki should be shaking and ready to fall”.

This was going to be done thanks to a “reasonable grant from the US State Department” to “bring about [regime] change…as has happened in other African and Arab countries”….

The letter is signed by one Catherine Price, Africa Special Programmes, Peter Benenson House, 1 Easton Street

Priority Status; Stricktly Confidential Resonance; Urgent To;  Mr. Adams Subi Waitara Amnesty Tanzania Section.

The letter was to inform him that he had been “appointed to be part of a 4 man delegation to Eritrea beginning 6th to 16th September, 2011”. The letter lists the other members of this very secret group including an Amnesty staffer who was then working for HRW.

The letter goes on to say “Amnesty International and Human Rights Watch…have received a reasonable grant from the US State Department…” and that “the main aim therefore of this Mission to Eritrea is to provide funding and to help in setting up websites and computer centers…”

The letter warns about the need for absolute secrecy, “Do not operate, at any time in groups of more than two in the day time…” and “Do not take any photos with normal cameras, except the micro cameras that will be provided for you…”. It informs Mr. Adams that  “Mr. Georges Gagnoy, Human Rights Watch Africa Director, will be monitoring the events and activities online from Nairobi, [Kenya] and will offer any emergency assistance should it be needed.”

Deja Vu? Cuba and Venezuela watchers will be reminded of similar programs funded by the US State Department to destabilize the governments of those countries with the goal of “regime change”. The bombshell this letter drops is that for the first time Amnesty International and HRW are caught in writing accepting “a reasonable grant” from the US State Department to do its dirty work.

What makes this letter all the more believable are the links between HRW and the Hillary Clinton mafia that have been the subject of a protest letter signed by several Nobel Peace Laureates. In particular, one Tom Malinowski who goes back and forth between being a speech writer for Hillary and a senior staff member at HRW.

Those of us in the Eritrean support community know Mr. Malinowski all to well for his history of vociferous slanders and other fabrications about Eritrea going back some 15 years or more. It would be all to easy for Malinowski to use his high level contacts in the Hillary Clinton State Department to arrange a “reasonable grant” for his cohorts in HRW and Amnesty International to carry out some undercover dirty work on behalf of Pax Americana.

Amnesty International and HRW are major corporations, with HRW being funded for several years now to the tune of $100 million a year by George Soros who has a long history of working with the US intel community in former Soviet Union republics ie the “Rose Revolution” in Georgia. Neither organization is “democratic” or transparent. The Board of Directors of both organizations elect themselves and answer only to the handful of 1%ers that fund their enormous budgets.  No one can really tell you just how much and from where these human rights corporations get their funding from. Has anyone ever seen an in depth audit of either of these outfits multi million dollar operations budgets?

Hillary, Amnesty, HRW and regime change in Africa. Its about time such matters are being brought to the light of day.

Kiev introduces state of emergency in Donbass, high alert across Ukraine

From RT, January 26, 2015

The Ukrainian government has introduced the state of emergency in the war-torn south-eastern Donetsk and Lugansk Regions, and put all other territories on high alert, Prime Minister Arseny Yatsenyuk announced.

“In accordance with the Ukrainian Code of Civil Protection, the Cabinet of Ministers has adopted a decision to recognize an emergency situation at a state level. The Ukrainian government has decided to impose the state of emergency in the Donetsk and Lugansk Regions,” Yatsenyuk is cited as saying by Interfax-Ukraine.

According to the PM, the move is aimed at providing the most efficient coordination of all government agencies in order to ensure civil protection and the safety of the population.

The statement was made after the field meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers, which took place at the headquarters of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in Kiev on Monday.

Yatsenyuk also said that the state of emergency in the southeast will be overseen by a special government commission.

It will be headed by the PM himself, with Deputy-PM Gennady Zubko and Emergencies Minister Sergey Bochkovsky being his deputies.

Kiev’s troops and Donbass militia forces are locked in renewed hostilities in southeastern Ukraine after a shaky ceasefire reached by the sides in September utterly collapsed.

Ukrainian forces launched a massive offensive in mid-January, but failed to gain any ground despite employing tanks, artillery and aviation.

On Saturday, a residential area in the port city of Mariupol, which has remained relatively insulated from violence throughout the majority of the conflict, was shelled.

The Kiev forces and the militias have been trading blame for the incident, which took the lives of at least 30 people and saw another 100 injured.

Russia’s foreign minister, Sergey Lavrov, has blamed Kiev for trying to “derail the peace process” in the Donetsk and Lugansk Regions.

“Time and time again, we’re seeing attempts by the Kiev authorities to solve the problem by violent suppression of the southeast. These are blind-alley attempts, leading to even more casualties among the civilian population,” he said.

Lavrov gave a reminder of an agreement to start withdrawing heavy weaponry reached at a meeting of the foreign ministers of France, Germany, Russia and Ukraine on January 21. Several days later President Poroshenko announced the renewal of warfare.

“It would’ve been naive to expect that the militia forces will remain idle when on the Ukrainian president’s orders populated areas are being shelled … and come to term with the fact that they’ll be bombed out,” Lavrov noted.

The foreign minister said that according to his understanding the rebels began acting “in order to eliminate those positions of the Ukrainian military from where their towns and villages were being shelled with heavy weaponry.”

The Ukrainian conflict began last April when Kiev launched a military operation in the southeastern Donetsk and Lugansk Regions, after they refused to recognize the country’s new, coup-imposed authorities.

The death toll in the Ukraine conflict has exceeded 5,000 people. Over 10,000 have been injured, according to UN estimates.

U.S. unable to confirm Kiev’s claims of Russian invasion

Posted on Sputnik News, January 22, 2015

US Department of State Jen Psaki stated that the US did not have additional information or independent confirmation of the recent Ukrainian claims on two Russia’s tactical battalions moved into Ukraine.

WASHINGTON, January 21 (Sputnik) — Washington can’t confirm if Russia’s two tactical battalions moved into Ukraine and does not have the number of regular Russian troops there, spokesperson for the US Department of State JenPsaki said during the press briefing on Wednesday.“I don’t have any confirmation of the figures,” Psaki stated, adding that she is familiar with Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko’s comments, accusing Russia of having 9000 troops on Ukrainian soil. “We’ve also seen reports that Russia moved two tactical battalions into Ukraine. I don’t have additional information or independent confirmation of that.”

Ukraine’s National Security and Defense Council claimed Monday that two battalion tactical groups from the Russian Armed Forces have apparently crossed the Russian-Ukrainian border.

Psaki said that Russia continues to move tanks, armored vehicles, trucks, artillery pieces and other military equipment to deployment sites near the Russia-Ukraine border that serve as a staging point before transporting military equipment to independence supporters.Russia has repeatedly denied accusations of involvement in the Ukrainian conflict and continues to urge the warring sides to establish a direct dialogue.

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov stated Wednesday that Moscow is extremely concerned over the new outbreak of violence in eastern Ukraine.

Lavrov also announced that Poroshenko stated he is ready to discuss a plan for a peaceful settlement of the crisis in eastern Ukraine’s Donbas region, proposed by Russian President Vladimir Putin and sent last week.

Clashes between Kiev forces and Donbas independence supporters intensified in the first weeks of 2015, despite a ceasefire agreement, reached during talks in Minsk, Belarus on September 5 and a «silence regime» introduced in the region on December 9.

Davos, Poroshenko claiming 9000 Russians, Reuters

The authorities of the Donetsk and Luhansk people’s republics repeatedly stated that Kiev was using truce period to strengthen its forces and to prepare for a new offensive.

Last week, Ukrainian Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk urged the country’s parliament to cancel the ceasefire, while Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko’s press service announced that Ukraine was regrouping its military and reinforcing units in «hot spots» in the country’s east.

In a statement published Monday, the Russian Foreign Ministry called on parties involved in the Ukrainian conflict to immediately withdraw heavy artillery from the Donbas region and to fulfill other obligations they have under the Minsk agreements.

Zakharchenko, head of DPR, announces the beginning of liberation of Mariupol, Debaltsevo cauldron will form in days

The head of Donetsk People’s Republic speaks in downtown Donetsk at the memorial to the victims of the trolley bombing on January 22, 2015:
How could I express my condolences? You know, when our comrades, loved ones and neighbors are dying – a part of us is dying. I want to say one thing – they are killing us not because we wanted freedom, but because we are different. We were able to do what each of them was scared to do. This is what makes us different – bravery, pride and yes, a love of freedom. I don’t agree that one should forgive the killers.
I want to say the following: Today began an offensive on Mariupol [the crowd cheers], God willing in a couple of days Debaltsevo cauldron will be closed. And it will be the best answer to honor the memory of the dead. Because we will pay back everyone, we will pay those who pulled the trigger or pushed the button which launched the missiles that killed our countrymen here. Those who shot people in Gorlovka, Makeevka, Yenakievo, Shakhtersk, Zhdanovka, Kirovka. Will pay back for each of our murdered child, and each old man innocently killed here.
Glory to Donbass! Glory! (The crowd cheers)
And now I would like to have a moment of silence to all those killed by the Ukrainian punishers.
Eternal memory to the dead!
Reporter:
A few minutes ago a memorial was held on Kuprina street, which was dedicated to the peaceful civilian victims, who were killed on January 22 by a missile which landed here.  The head of the Donetsk Republic Alexander Zakharcheno’s words that the militia, defenders of Donbass,  launched an offensive on Mariupol, which is occupied by the Kiev junta, caused an ovation from the crowd. The people were supporting and cheering.  All of this is showing that they will be fighting to get their land back. All of this shows that Donbass will never be a part of Ukraine, to live with the killers in the same state – is not an option. Soon, in several hours, days, a Debaltsevo cauldron will be closed, were another group of Ukrainian punishers will find itself. There is a great number of heavy equipment and personel. If they don’t surrender, they will be destroyed.  One cannot forget what a great significance Mariupol holds for Donbass – it is a great port city and a metallurgic center, one of the major industrial centers of former Ukraine, and now of Donetsk Republic.

Donetsk says over 30 civilians killed in Kiev airstrikes on Horlivka

From Sputnik News, January 19, 2015

Kiev deployed combat jets for the first time since last summer and hit populated areas of Horlivka with heavy bombs killing 30 civilians including children, a senior commander of the armed militia in the self-proclaimed Donetsk People’s Republic said.

DONETSK, January 19 (Sputnik) — More than 30 civilians, including children, were killed on Sunday in the city of Horlivka in the Donbas region in a series of airstrikes carried out by Ukrainian combat jets, a senior commander of the armed militia in the self-proclaimed Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) said Monday.”On Sunday afternoon, Kiev deployed combat jets for the first time since last summer, hitting populated areas of Gorlovka with heavy bombs,” said Eduard Basurin, deputy commander of DPR militia.

“As a result, more than 30 civilians were killed, including children,” Basurin said.

The DPR commander noted that as the SU-24 attack aircraft were dropping bombs from about 5,000 meters (more than 3 miles) above the ground, it is clear that Kiev forces were not trying to hit any specific military targets.

Earlier in the day,DPR stated that at least 200 people had been killed and injured in the past 24 hours as a result of fighting initiated by Kiev.DPR leader AlexanderZakharchenko blamed Kiev for breaching the ceasefire and called on the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) to force Ukrainian authorities to fulfill the Minsk agreements. The conflict in southeastern Ukraine erupted in mid-April, 2014, when Kiev launched a military operation to suppress independence supporters in Donetsk and Luhansk who refused to recognize the legitimacy of a new government that came to power following a February coup.

On September 5, 2014, the opposing sides reached a ceasefire agreement at a Contact Group meeting in Minsk, however, the clashes between the sides have continued.

According to the latest update by the World Health Organization (WHO), almost 5,000 people have lost their lives and nearly 10,500 have been wounded in Ukraine since the ceasefire between independence supporters and Kiev-led forces had been declared.

ICC may consider Moscow Red Cross’ report on Kiev war crimes in Donbas

From Sputnik News, January 13, 2015

MOSCOW, January 13 (Sputnik) – The Hague’s International Criminal Court (ICC) has received a report by the Moscow Red Cross on the crimes Kiev officials committed in Donbas, the organization’s chairman lawyer Igor Trunov told RIA Novosti Tuesday.

“An answer came from the public prosecutor of the ICC in The Hague, that our application of an investigation into the facts of crimes against humanity, committed by Ukrainian officials, has been accepted for consideration…,” Trunov told RIA Novosti.

“We are putting a question regarding the murder, massacre, enslavement, bombing of settlements, pressure by starvation, committed by Ukrainian officials towards civilians,” Trunov added.

Ukrainian authorities have also been accused of “persecution on political, racial or religious grounds, the torture of prisoners and other crimes within the jurisdiction of the ICC tribunal.”

Last month, the Moscow Red Cross sent a statement to the UN Security Council, listing war crimes committed by Kiev officials in Donbas, all of which were in the Court’s jurisdiction.

Russia’s Investigative Committee, in turn, is investigating a number of cases of genocide against the Russian-speaking population of Donetsk and Luhansk.

According to the latest UN data, more than 4,7 civilians fell victim to the armed conflict in Donbas, more than 10 thousand were injured. Kiev and independence supporters signed a ceasefire agreement on September 5 in Minsk with the mediation of Russia and the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE), but the truce has been regularly violated.

26 busloads of men leave Ukraine to avoid mobilization

Posted on Fort Russ
Yurasumy, January 25, 2015
Translated from Russian by Kristina Rus

…On January 19, the day before the official start of the partial mobilization campaign, about a thousand men from Pereginskaya left to work abroad – in Russia. 26 buses with workers went to Krasnoyarsk.

This was announced at a meeting on the issues of mobilization that took place today in the Ivano-Frankivsk regional state administration with the participation of the military commandants of all districts of the region, representatives of power structures and social activists.

This fact was voiced by an [Maidan] activist from the town of Kalush in the address to Kalush District Commissar, which oversees Rozhnyatovsky district. The activist expressed surprise that this fact was unknown to the military Commissar. Before the Commissar said that it is impossible to locate Pereginskaya men and to subject them to mobilization.

“It’s all excuses. I know that almost everyone came back home for the Christmas holidays. And after they all leave. Therefore don’t say they are impossible to find. It’s just our stupidity,” – responded the Chairman of Regional State Administration Oleg Goncharuk.

Out of 17 400 inhabitants of Pereginskaya, among which there are about 7000 men of military age, in 23 years of independence of Ukraine only one resident of the village served in the army. This man volunteered to the war zone in the East and now defends Ukraine in one of the volunteer battalions.

The Chairman of regional state administration declared that during the following closed session of the meeting with commissars will be decided how to strengthen the district military Commissar of the Kalush area.

The second session of the meeting was held behind doors closed for journalists. Public activists headed by Roman Ostrovsky were present at the meeting. Roman Ostrovsky started an argument that the meeting should be closed to journalists. Finally, the journalists were asked to stay behind the door. http://kurs.if.ua/news/do_rosii_na_zarobitky_vyihaly_naperedodni_mobilizatsii_26_avtobusiv_cholovikiv_iz_prykarpatskogo_selyshcha_pereginsk_13247.html

This is how mobilization is going…

P. S. As written in the comments to the previous material about mobilization in Sumy, summons are delivered to the factories. Accept the summons – you can work, if not – you have to quit. People are quitting en masse (there are no idiots).

Poroshenko signs law on partial mobilization in Ukraine

According to Ukrainian parliamentary portal, President Poroshenko signed a partial mobilization law Monday.

IEV, January 19 (Sputnik) — Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko has signed a law on partial mobilization in the country, Ukrainian parliament portal reported Monday.

The status of the adopted law says that the document “has been returned with the President’s signature on January 19”.

On January 15, the Ukrainian parliament approved the partial military mobilization act that requires three waves of mobilization in 2015. The act also stipulates the spring demobilization of servicemen who joined the military during 2014’s first wave of mobilization in March.

According to the Ukrainian Defense Ministry, the first mobilization wave of 2015, during which 50,000 troops are expected to be added to military ranks, is expected to begin on January 20. Overall the three-stage military mobilization would add a total of 104,000 soldiers to the country’s army.

Kiev began military operation against the self-proclaimed Donetsk and Luhansk people’s republics in April and carried out three mobilization waves in 2014.

Is America taking over the military operation in Ukraine and why did Poroshenko leave Davos early?

Our source close to the General staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, who previously quite accurately forecasted for us the catastrophic defeat on the southern flank of the advancing parts of the UAF – on July 6th (when no one else mentioned the strategic value of Saur-Grave), reports about a chaos in Kiev and the turmoil in the country’s administration and the army.

According to the source, the defeat at the airport, and the loss of the new terminal was a complete surprise to the leaders of ATO [anti-terrorist operation] – as prepared since the beginning of October and started on January 15th operation of “aligning the front” consisted of the acquisition of the greater part of Donetsk and Gorlovka in response to “the terrorist violence against civilians”. Next, after the recognition by the Council of Europe of DPR and LPR as terrorist organizations, as well as after the elimination of the “Bezler’s gang” in Gorlovka, a general offensive of AFU through Debaltsevo ledge in the direction of Krasny Lyman and Snezhnoe  was to begin.

For these operations surplus ammunition supplies, fifteen hundred armored vehicles, more than 50 aircraft and helicopters of various types were prepared at the front over the course of three months. Also different types of equipment for communication and control of combat, and artillery (anti-mortar) radars were received from overseas friends.

An excuse for UAF offensive is now known – the blown up bus near Volnovakha. However, the SBU [Security Service of Ukraine] took the sin upon its soul in vain, because the offensive choked at the stage of the three-day artillery preparation. Efficiency and density of counter-battery fire from NAF has been so detrimental to the Ukrainian artillery that Kiev began to look for scape goats in another “betrayal”. In addition, in response to an absolutely monstrous shelling of Donetsk on January 17-18, parts of NAF knocked the “cyborgs” out of the new terminal and attacked Peski and Avdeevka.

After that all operational plans have been disrupted, because the job came under the authority of a  “certified dimwit” – Colonel-General Muzhenko. Muzhenko, currently the chief of the General Staff, inside the General Staff is not respected, because he doesn’t care about the opinion of military experts, totally dependent on the whims and views of the head of the SBU, Nalyvaychenko and his closest cronies, many of whom got shoulder straps because of Maidan and have no experience or education.

Muzhenko arrived personally at the positions of the UAF near Donetsk airport, and ordered an immediate counterattack. Unprepared tank attack without infantry support, without co-operation with artillery led to heavy losses in personnel and equipment. During a few hours of the battle in the suburbs of Donetsk, UAF has lost more than 40 armored vehicles, mostly –  tanks. Muzhenko, realizing that as a result of his voluntarist management it is turning into a second Ilovaisk, which the “dimwit” also was involved in, left for Kiev, spreading a rumor about his severe wound.

By January 20th Kiev was in a full-fledged panic, and (in the absence of Poroshenko) was considering declaring war against Russia with the aim to involve NATO in the conflict and to receive urgent military assistance. People of Nalyvaychenko and Yatsenyuk tried to receive guarantees from the officers of the General Staff that missile defense and Ukrainian air force in the case of this scenario will be able at least for two weeks to counter the Russian air force. Of course, no one gave them such guarantees.

Because at this point NAF is advancing simultaneously in a dozen directions, and the control of many parts of the UAF is already lost, and volunteer battalions and the national guard is not under anyone’s control, a military disaster is in the making. The question is not whether or not the front will collapse, the question is, where it will happen first. Also, since approximately January 20th, Kiev knows nothing about where at least 6 tank battalions of NAF are located, which had left their permanent location.

Under these conditions, the emissaries of Nalyvaychenko are accusing the officers of the General Staff of incompetence and nepotism. These same people are saying that the American military mission to Kiev is preparing to take strategic control of UAF divisions upon themselves.

Well, as they say in Russian, may the earth be like glass fiber to you, dear guests!
