Wikileaks Ucraina: McCain e Saakashvili stanno complottando…

M. – Fatelo entrare ……. siediti, David.

Come già sai è tutto a posto. Avete preparato i nostri ragazzi?

M. – Aspetta, aspetta! Devo prendere la chiamata da Gerashchenko.

[M. parla con G.]

M. – Ciao Anton! I nostri ragazzi partiranno oggi. E’ tutto pronto?

G. – Mikhail, è tutto a posto laggiù! …..

K. – Non lo so Misha.

S. – Lo faccio subito Mikhail.

M. – Come stai Ramzan! Come vanno le cose?

R. – Batono Misha! Siamo pronti a tutto [batono è un titolo onorifico georgiano].

M. – Molto bene! La pace nel mondo dipende da te! Io e Dato [?] supporteremo in tutto voi e le vostre famiglie.

R. – Grazie.

Sarai in buone mani. Salutami gli altri ragazzi e state attenti. Prenditi cura di te.

R. – Mi fai sentire meglio, Misha batono. Non sapevo che avrei incontrato mio cugino. Faremo tutto al 100%. Pensavo che Tarhan fosse morto, avevo sentito che era ‘saltato’ insieme a El-Baghdadi. Inshallah, egli è ancora vivo.

M. – Prendi, Ramzan! E’ un pugnale, un mio regalo.

R. – Che Allah ti protegga, batono Misha!

Ti ho detto tutto in anticipo.

L’ho detto mille volte. Rimuovete questo Kardav [?] oppure pagatelo, questo bastardo. Anche Ilham [Ilham Aliyev, Presidente azero] potrebbe risentirsi e farci fuori dalla SOCAR [State Oil Company of Azerbaijan Republic].

K. – Intanto manderò i nostri ragazzi.

Ok a dopo!

….. aspetta, aspetta.

Hai capito cosa devi fare? Prima di andare a Kiev incontra Adeishvili, egli ti spiegherà tutti i dettagli.

K. – Sì, lascia che Zura [Adeishvili] mi spieghi tutto. Sono in ballo tante cose, potrei perdermi. Ho bisogno del suo aiuto.

M. – Bene. Non appena i ragazzi partono fammelo sapere, devo informare McCain. Sta aspettando!

K. Ok, Misha! Devo andare, c’è molto da fare.

The balkanization of Russia – has it begun?

From Fort Russ

October 10th, 2015 –
By Ilia Belous – iliabelous –
Translated for Fort Russ by Inessa Sinchougova –.

[In his address to PolitRussia  Belous’s position is that by 2018, every federal region in Russia is going to need its own ‘Putin.’ Foreign NGOs such as the National Endowment for Democracy have recently been outlawed in Russia due to covert activities being undertaken through them. Such activities continue however, through official US embassies.- I. Sinchougova]

Some interesting details surrounding the new General Consul  to Ekaterinburg have unfolded. Russia’s Ural region has recently received Mr. Marcus Micheli, as representative of the USA – a package deal with his unfavourable working experience in the Ukraine. His posting to the region does not seem to be accidental, once the details surrounding his prior activities are brought to light.

After my original publication about the new General Consul to Ekaterinburg, a number of my astute readers recognized the name as someone who used to be employed by the United States National Security Council, with Ukraine as his area of specialization. His duties included lobbying for sanctions against the Russian economy, as well as the arrangement of funding toward Poroshenko’s army.

Let me start at the beginning.

In August 2014, two political pranksters by the names of Vladimir Krasnov and Aleksei Stoliarov (most recently pranking Elton John in his conversation with ‘Putin’), were involved in a covert investigation over the imposition of Mikhail Saakashvili to the seat of Governor in Odessa, Ukraine.   The pranksters, implanted into the existing administration, had asked Mr. Saakashvii to release the names of his contacts in the US Department of State.

The pranksters, through a number of clever moves and handshakes, managed to convince the runaway-Georgian ex-president in the genuine nature of their discussion with him.  Mr. Saakashvilli gave the name of Senator John McCain as his advisor.

As part of this operation, and with Saakashvili’s exclusive contact details, Mr. Aleksei Stoliarov, posing as Mr. Arsen Avakov (Ukraine’s Minister of Internal Affairs and Poroshenko’s right hand man) spoke to Mr. Marcus Micheli. This took place at the end of 2014, but it is not until Mr. Micheli was on his way to be the General Consul to Ekaterinbrug, that the pranksters forwarded me the recording. (August 2015).

In his conversation with “Mr. Avakov”, Mr. Micheli speaks in his role as colleague of the esteemed professor of International Relations, Charles Kupchan (formerly at Georgetown University.) Mr. Kupchan is also Director of European Affairs at the US National Security Council.

The National Security Council is the department responsible for their detailed recommendations toward sanctions against the Russian economy. Through this use of sanctions, Kupchan had personally invited the world to isolate the Russian economy on the official Council website. He emphasized that the situation in Ukraine will provoke internal pressure on President Putin. The use of sanctions was, in his eyes, a suitable strategy to weaken the Russian state.

The commentary was dated 29 August 2014, from the office of National Security Council Press Secretary – Caitlin Hayden, just prior to President Obama’s visit to Estonia and Wales on the 2nd and 4th September 2014. It is known that Charles Kupchan oversees the events in Europe at large, while Micheli those in Ukraine.

Micheli is well versed with the region, his work experience dates back to his postings to Moscow between 1992 and 1994, as well as between 2002 and 2004. Between 1994-1996 he was located in Warsaw; 1996-1999 in Kiev; 2000-2001 in Sarajevo; 2007–2009 in Podgorica, 2009-2012 in Kishinev.

Team Kupchan is also well connected to Hillary Clinton. Mr. Saakashvilli was quoted as saying, that these people are the more influential of his advisors in Washington.

The conversation between prankster Stoliarov and Kupchan’s office took place one week after Petro Poroshenko’s address in the United States Congress.

Aleksei Stoliarov did not reach Kupchan in the office when he called, but instead landed in the hands of his accomplice Mr. Micheli, who without a doubt in his mind assumed Minister Avakov was on the other end. In the conversation, Mikeli openly discussed increased funding toward the armament of Petro Poroshenko’s army against the resistance movements in the country’s east – the Donbass. Micheli was well positioned to speak on this topic, as it was him who was lobbying the US State Department towards armament.

A little earlier than that, in May 2014, the US government had provided $1 billion dollars for the initial armament of Poroshenko’s army. The first allocation of weaponry did not go to plan – Kiev’s army had been surrounded by the DPR militia, formerly ordinary residents of the Donbass. They had no choice but to release much of the US funded weaponry to the self organised militias of the Donbass region. In this way, the new wave of mobilization required more funding. In September 2014, the Ukrainian authorities received another $320 million dollars.

Poroshenko then, was not lying in his address in the 70th session of the General Assembly of the United Nations, where he said that “the war in Ukraine costs $5 million dollars a day.” With this calculation in mind, the $1 billion should have lasted 200 days, or around 6 months. This is as accurate as clockwork, with the first batch in May 2014 and second in November 2014.

Today, Marcus Micheli is a well-known lobbyist and an influential person in the White House. Why is he in Ekaterinburg? While I have no insight into the workings of the White House, I do have the following information for us to ponder over.

  • Ekaterinburg is known for being a target location of the US State Department for the preparation of a social movement
  • The State Department has been involved in Ekaterinburg for over 20 years in one way or another – creating an active network of agents that consist of local opposition, some of which are in the elite/ moneyed ranks.
  • An orchestrated and predetermined weakening of the region’s economy seems to provide sufficient reasoning toward the launch of an opposition movement here
  • Micheli has spent his entire working career in Europe, including a stint during a colour revolution, when he was part of the US diplomatic mission to Moldova 2009, “the twitter revolution.”
  • As part of his role in the National Council on Security, Micheli directly oversaw the allocation of funds for Poroshenko’s army, toward the war in the Donbass. A graphically – offensive video of fire against civilians — is available here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OLvqPnWTBm0
  • Upon his arrival in Ekaterinbrug, it is known to me that Micheli began networking with those individuals that I would consider to be a part of the ‘5th column.’ (Any group of people who undermine a larger group—such as a nation—from within, usually in favor of an enemy group or nation.)

The totality of this information together leads me to believe that the US State Department’s interest toward Russia’s regions, especially that of the Ural region, is growing by the day.

Be vigilant, my friends.

This information has been forwarded to the FSB, through their official channel.

Ukrainian National Academy of Science journal publishes the truth about Donbass. Panic ensues.

From Fort Russ

Panic in Kiev: A scientific journal published a “separatist” article on genocide of residents of Donbass by the Ukrainian Armed Forces

Translated from Russian by Tom Winter

Panic in Kyiv: A scientific journal of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine (NANU) has published a “separatist” article about the genocide of the residents of Donbass by the VSU.

The Ukrainian Banderized public is in a state of shock. In Kiev, they called it unprecentented betrayal. The National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine is disgraced, having dared to suspect Ukraine’s valiant armed forces of genocide against the population of Donbass. And they not only suspected, but they dared to release an article on this subject with, so to speak, absolutely “separatist” content.

{Inset in Russian text from a Ukrainian paper: “Some Putinist name of Lopata scribbled up some garbage about the genocide of Donbass, and she even called The Revolution of Dignity a coup.”}

So, at least, say a number of pro-regime Ukrainian media, starting with Oksana Onishchenko in the “Weekly Mirror” in her column from the department of education, science, medicine and the environment.

Onishchenko, on her Facebook page, denounced the terrible “crime” committed by a candidate of jurisprudence A. Lopata, who dared to openly publish, in the magazine of the National Academy of Sciences, a “separatist” and propagandist article, which calls into question the essence of “The Revolution of Dignity,” according to Onishchenko and the Ukrainian press, which has been blossoming with typical and predictable headlines.

In fact, the other day a scientific academic journal of NANU, “Sociology: theory, methods, marketing,” published an article by master of laws A. Lopata: “Lugansk: the hot summer of 2014,” in which the author dares to “wrongly” interpret the triumph of the “The Revolution of Dignity” and accuses the APU of the genocide of the people of Donbass.

According to the scientist, this revolution was nothing more than a coup.

Huge amounts of money were spread around in it, and not just those Nuland cookies … Its main participants were outcasts from across the country, who, in fact, had nothing to lose. The outcasts very much wanted to take the property not just from “Donetskis”, but also from “Kievskis”, “Lvivskis”, “Rivnenskis” and others,” wrote, in particular, the author of the scientific publication.

In addition, Lopata qualified the war in the Donbass as the genocide of the people in the east of the country by the army of Ukraine.  “Today, the population of Donbass en masse is being systematically, and brutally destroyed by the Armed Forces and the National Guard of Ukraine, including through means and methods of warfare that are prohibited by international law,” – wrote A. Lopata.

The author also points out that “the authorities of the country have made a decision to urgently direct the entire Maidan “fuel” material to Eastern Ukraine;” and that “there is no aggression of Russia against Ukraine, but instead there is a US war with Russia in Donbass “to the last Ukrainian.”

The horror that seized the properly patriotic (svidomized) media yesterday was shared today by Ukraine’s Ministry of Education. Its Certifying Authority immediately instructed the NANU publication board to investigate the journal “Sociology: theory, methods, marketing” for compliance with the criteria that apply to the specialized scientific journals.

The reason for the inquest is “a great disturbance in the academic community and the media caused by the publication in the proceedings of the” round table “held in Luhansk on January 9 this year, entitled” Lugansk: hot summer of 2014″ in the form of an article by master of laws A. Lopata. “
“The Ministry of Education and Science is sure: The ideological cliches of a neighboring aggressor-state published in this article have nothing to do with scientific discourse. We believe that the tragic events in the Crimea and the Donbass should be subject to rigorous academic study, but such cannot work at the “round table” held in the occupied territory, where there are no opportunities for the expression of free thought “- they sniffed at the Ministry.
The ministry added that the authors of numerous appeals to the Ministry of Education and Science “see in the actions of the magazine not only an insult to tens of millions of Ukrainians, but also a flagrant violation of the principles of scientific ethics.”
“I ask the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, the absolute majority of whose workers exhibit a clear patriotic position, to give the proper scientific, professional and civic assessment of the aforementioned publication, its author, and editorial offices that put it together” – ordered the head of the Ministry, Sergei Kvit.
There is no doubt that following up on Minister Kvit, the SBU will be interested in the publication of the material, and the researcher will be subjected to brutal violence, and well, if it would cost only dismissal, rather than arrest followed by a long prison term. The courage of the man it is impossible not to admire. These people inspire a timid hope that the healing of Ukraine from its Banderist poisoning, sooner or later, but, ultimately, is inevitable.

The complete degeneration of Ukraine’s system

September 29th, 2015

Lug-info – translated for Fort Russ by Paul Siebert

Political analyst Aleksei Blyuminov: “Complete degeneration of the Ukrainian management structure”

* Fort Russ translates for you an eye opening and compelling interview with Blyuminov on the actual and critical situation in Ukraine – highly recommended *

00000

Lug-Info – Aleksei, what is happening in the Ukrainian politics today?

– The country is steadily sinking into a systemic governmental and parliamentary crisis. Formally, the coalition in the parliament has not disintegrated yet, but everyone understands that there are forces that lead the parliament to early re-elections. Poroshenko is resisting in every way he can, eager to formally preserve the coalition. But the party of Lyashko has already abandoned it.  Now the faction of Timoshenko is next in line.

Lug-Info – In your opinion, who benefits from this?

– Oligarch Igor Kolomoisky is behind all this, if we consider domestic beneficiaries who want to grab their piece. Regarding foreign beneficiaries – this is more complicated, because Ukraine is under external control. If the parliament is dissolved, it means that this decision was agreed to in Washington. If Washington does not want early perturbations and it is satisfied with Poroshenko, then the dissolution of the parliament will not take place. It will be maintained half alive for some time: a month, two, three, four – for as long as it is needed.

Lug-Info – Can we assert that the leader of the far-right “Freedom” party Tyagnibok has been “sent packing”?

– It is difficult to say at the moment. We remember that after Mukachevo Poroshenko was shouting angrily threatening to punish those involved, but no one was arrested, everyone escaped in the woods. In the conflict near the Parliament in Kiev on August 31 it is the same story: the Pechersk court in Kiev will decide whether to arrest Shwaika (former Minister of Agrarian Policy of Ukraine, member of the “Freedom” party). In the coming days we will see how serious are the Prosecutor General, the police, etc. in relation to the “Freedom” party.

Lug-Info – In general, how do you assess the political situation in Ukraine?

– The political situation is absolutely unstable. There are no “fodder reserves” that could maintain stability. Roughly speaking, earlier, for example, under Yanukovych, this stability could be maintained by two things: the first – the legitimate state apparatus, and the second – the availability of some money. Now, both are missing. There are a lot of people who can toss grenades at the prosecutor’s office, and there is no money to cajole them.

Going back to the main problem – the regime is under external control, so all flames of instability are to be artificially extinguished. For example, there was a source of instability in the form Kolomoisky – he was removed after the mediation of the US Ambassador. There was a similar source of instability in the form of Nalyvaychenko: he was also removed. Therefore, external overseers are helping Poroshenko to keep the situation under control and consolidate his regime. Obviously, it cannot last forever, but as long as the Americans are interested in some kind of stability, they will not allow the spread of destabilizing tendencies.

Lug-Info – How important is the factor “of people returning from the front?”

– According to the association of owners of firearms (they are lobbying for legalization of the process), Ukraine is the largest supplier of illegal weapons to the EU. There have been some known attempts to smuggle multiple-launch rocket systems “Grad” across the country to Chernovtsi in order to sell them in Romania. We see that in all conflicts in Ukraine, including Mukachevo, heavy weapons are used. In Kiev, grenade explosions are heard and soon, in all probability, howitzers will be available. In spite of this, a more or less “glossy cover” of Ukraine is maintained yet.

Lug-Info – What about the situation in the Ukrainian economy?

– The economy is dead. According to the official data, the GDP has contracted by 12.5%. This demonstrates that the main branches of industry, which produced income: metallurgy, machine-building, chemistry, etc. – are in deep crisis. What more or less is still functioning to some degree is tied to the agricultural sector and exports through the port of Odessa. That is why, by the way, it is such a contested asset. Even lenders admit it.

Standard& Poor’s rating agency predicts that a default is inevitable. Not such a long time ago a technical default was admitted. But at the same time, due to political considerations, the same lenders say that they will continue to lend to Ukraine despite the fact that its economy is dead. Clearly, this is a purely political decision – to keep the bankrupt regime afloat. It cannot go on for a long time, but for some period they will be able to drag on.

Lug-Info – How will it look like?

– Without external credit borrowings Kiev is unable to form the budget for 2016. For this reason, Natalia Yaresko (Finance Minister) urges the Parliament to vote for all the conditions attached by the lenders as a package, blackmailing the deputies that otherwise default is inevitable. These conditions demand more severe cuts in all social programs, forcing the population to tighten their belts even more. Without this even the agreement about forgiving Ukraine 20% of its debt will not come into effect. But this debt write-off is not a victory. This means credit bondage, only delayed in time. Only the payment of the principal will be stretched for four years while the interest will be charged anyway. But this money will have to be returned by other people. Neither Yatsenyuk nor Yaresko will remain in their positions by then. However, it will be impossible to avoid a technical default. The government will have to impose a moratorium on debt payments in September and October. It is also necessary to return three billion dollars to Russia while Moscow made it clear that it is not going to forgive Ukraine’s debt.

Lug-Info – What is happening in the “social sphere”?

– In the social sphere there is a systematic reduction, squeezing, tightening of all social programs starting from the Chernobyl victims, pensioners, benefit recipients, and children of war. For example, in Kiev the categories of people who use public transportation for free have been significantly reduced. Only those people who have the so called “Kievite’s cards” have such a privilege. But this is a very small group. All other persons, including a huge number of migrants living in the capital of Ukraine illegally, do not have these preferential rights.

– And what about the prices?

– The prices are rising. On the one hand, the authorities caused the collapse of imports, on the other hand, exports crumbled as well. As a result, on paper the budget has reached equilibrium that is called deflation. In addition, without any sanctions and blockades, the assortment of goods in shops has been significantly reduced. For example, in the past there used to be 15 types of yogurt or mayonnaise, but now there are only three. What remains is the cheapest goods. There is no sense to sell expensive ones in mass retail stores.

Lug-Info – You mentioned the migrants. What is life like for refugees?

– Refugees from Donbas have no rights. There is a regime of internal segregation. Formally – you’re a citizen of Ukraine, you have a passport. But you need to be registered as a temporary migrant and receive a huge number of certificates. There are many problems when children go to a kindergarten or school. People also face domestic segregation when housing is not rented to people from Donetsk or Lugansk. I talk to many people, and I have a lot of examples. Plus, there are problems with employment records. In fact, people find themselves outside the legal environment. They periodically organize meetings in order to be legalized, to be given accommodation. If you have some financial reserves – you can rent an apartment, but if not …

– How do you assess the situation with the frozen conflict?

– With frozen conflicts there are no prospects to speak of, because the freezing does not provide a solution but postpones it indefinitely. In the hope that something will change under the influence of some external factors. We realize that the war may end only with a victory of one of the sides, it cannot end with a compromise. It is not possible. Compromise is a truce; it is not the end of the war. The simplest example: Some elements in Ukraine are enraged over the buying of coal from the enemy territory, from Donbas. In fact, these supplies should be legalized. Without this coal power plants will be stopped. The supplies of coal at the Ukrainian thermal power stations are left for only two weeks. That is, energetic collapse can occur at any moment. And the situation is becoming more precarious.

– Can you make any forecasts?

– Actually, it is difficult to make predictions. I personally see only one option – the end of the war. There are two examples of ending wars: the Vietnamese one, when a society is tired of the war and urges authorities to make peace and end the hostilities. And the second one is a military defeat of the enemy. Regardless of the scenario of solving the conflict, it will have different beneficiaries. It should be understood that the current regime in Kiev will never allow federalization of Ukraine. And there is no leverage to force it into it – Minsk agreements are brazenly flaunted by the Kiev regime.

– It seems that everything depends on the resources, including those resources received from the outside?

– From the perspective of an ordinary person who cannot rely on anything, yes. In Ukraine, the situation is worse than in Donbas. Donbas receives convoys with humanitarian aid, volunteers are collecting money. No one will deliver humanitarian aid to an ordinary poor Ukrainian. He has been left alone; there is nothing he can count upon.  He is lucky if he has relatives who can feed him or make money transfers. We also understand that in Donbas, for obvious reasons, in many cases utilities are not paid for, but no one has been evicted.

Lug-Info – Let’s go back to the refugees. Will they come back?

Those ones who are not able to settle somewhere, will look for possibilities to return. People, who are able to integrate in the Ukraine with some success, are unlikely to return. In general, the situation in the country is depressing. We are witnessing a complete degradation of the Ukrainian management structure.

In Ukraine, the Emergency Situations Ministry has been broken up. We have seen three waves of lustration. Thousands of people have been fired. They have been replaced by people from the street. And the results are obvious for anyone: peat bogs are burning, they cannot extinguish them. The system has been destroyed: lack of people, lack of professional skills, and lack of equipment. In normal times any environmental disaster would be overcome within two – three days. Now fires are raging in the Chernobyl forest. It is impossible to breathe with smoke billowing in the streets.

Another example. The police is being disbanded. Seasoned veterans are gone. They are replaced with 22-24 year old boys, with no experience at all, but with huge ambitions. At the same time we see an explosion of street crime: robberies, stabbings, hooliganism. Nobody is dealing with street crime. In front of a camera traffic violation fines are ostentatiously written to a high-ranking bishop or some politician. But this is a facade, and behind the facade …. Some foreigner comes to Ukraine, makes some photographs and goes back to write a book about the success of Ukraine’s reforms. He will not delve into crime statistics. He will make a selfie with a policeman dressed in the second hand American uniform – second hand from Texas Rangers, with American chevrons replaced by Ukrainian – that is all. The usual Saakashvili-style. Total window-dressing in everything …

Lugansk conference discusses Donbass vs. Crimea scenarios

From Fort Russ

Translated for Fort Russ by J. Arnoldski

“Polish political scientist: Donbass clearly wants to become a second Crimea”
The polish political scientist Mateusz Piskorski participated in a conference in Lugansk, where his colleagues discussed the idea of the accession of Donbass to the Russian Federation.
The leadership and people of the unrecognized Donetsk and Lugansk people’s republics are in favor of joining Russia if Kiev will continue to not abide by the Minsk agreements. The director of the European Center for Geopolitical Analysis, Mateusz Piskorski, stated to the National News Service this while participating in the Lugansk conference “The Path of Integrating Donbass into Russia.”
“Sooner or later, if the Ukrainian side will not be up to implementing the Minsk agreements and Kiev will continue to call the leadership and population of the DPR and LPR terrorists and separatists, then Donbass will not be left another exit other than joining the Russian Federation,” the Polish expert said.
This topic is not being discussed on a political level, but nevertheless it is a reflection of public opinion, Piskorski noted. According to him, the political scientists and participants of the conference were interested in understanding “whether Novorossiya will become a second Crimea for Russia, that is, acceding to Russia through a referendum, through direct democracy.”
“At the conference in Lugansk, there were participants not only from the DPR and LPR, but also from Russia and European countries. In addition to political experts, politicians, in particular the head of the LP Igor Plotnitsky and the speaker of the parliament of the DPR, Denis Pushilin, attended,” Piskorski told the National News Service.
Let us recall that since April, 2014, Kiev is conducting the so-called anti-terrorist operation. Ukrainian security forces use armored vehicles and heavy artillery against disgruntled locals who are against the February coup and who held a referendum on secession from Ukraine.
In more than a year of fighting, the local militia has managed to defend a part of the territory of the Donetsk and Lugansk regions, proclaiming there two republics which have so far not received international recognition.
A plan for settling the armed conflict was written in the Minsk agreements which implied the preservation of Donbass as part of Ukraine by granting the region a special status.
According to the United Nations, nearly 8 thousand people have been killed over the course of the conflict.

Lugansk: Support for joining Russia is steadily growing

From Fort Russ

September 17th, 2015 –

PolitNavigator – translated for Fort Russ by Joaquin Flores –
In Lugansk there is a rapidly growing number of supporters for joining Russia, according to Alexander Protsenko, director of the sociological center “Особое мнение.”
According to him, in 2014, on the eve of the referendum, in Lugansk the predominant sentiment was in favor of preserving the region within Ukraine, but based upon regional rights in the context of federalization.
“In May last year before the referendum, we conducted a study. We asked people what the future should hold for their region, what they would like to see? The choice to enter the Russian Federation at the time was about a quarter of respondents. The most popular option was to remain a part of Ukraine, but within a federation. Figuratively speaking, they wanted to show the people sitting in Kiev the mess, and to give them a slap, “- said the expert.
However, Protsenko said, “then something happened that radically changed the mood” [could that have been death squads and shelling civilian areas? – .ed]
According to the sociologist, a February 2015 study shows a steady increase in the number of supporters for Donbass reunification with Russia.
Thus, in May 2015 the figure was 52%, and in August, the figure reached 61%.
“The opinion has changed dramatically. The growing number is reflecting how people’s hopes have melted away that someone will come to power in Ukraine who can carry on normal partner-like relations with Donbass” – said Protensko
“If the question is about the referendum, the rate will be higher, we can say unambiguously,” – says the sociologist.
“Now Donbass is slowly but surely drifting towards the Russian Federation. If there is no improvement from the Ukrainian side and if there will be a political outcome, the drifting attains cruising speed “, – he concluded

Ukraine announced the resumption of hostilities in the Donbass

From Fort Russ

September 18th, 2015 –
Novorossia – translated for Fort Russ by Joaquin Flores

Ukraine announced the resumption of hostilities. The operation involves thousands of soldiers and hundreds of military vehicles, said the advisor to the President of Ukraine ,Yuriy Biryukov.
“Officially: in the zone of military action army began an operation to search and destroy sabotage and reconnaissance groups of the enemy. Throughout the war zone, do not look for “holes” – he wrote on his page on Facebook.
He stressed that this operation include “the best UAF force.”
We can only guess what more of Kiev’s crimes this will justify, in the name of anti-seperatism, under the guise of beautiful words.
* ed’s note – given the recent ‘calm’ on the Ukraine front, it’s hard not to see a connection between this declared ‘resumption’ and the increased direct presence of Russia in Syria.  These should be considered to be among two fronts in a single undeclared global conflict.

Silenzio totale dell’Occidente sui bambini uccisi nel Donbass

Sputnik

14.08.2015
Tatiana Santi

Ennio Bordato, presidente dell'Associazione Aiutateci a salvare i bambini

Ennio Bordato, presidente dell’Associazione “Aiutateci a salvare i bambini”

L’Associazione Aiutateci a Salvare i Bambini Onlus

L’Associazione Aiutateci a Salvare i Bambini Onlus

From the IOUCO — International Observatory of Ukrainian Conflict

IOUCO logo

Dear friends,

I inform you that DISS (Donbass International Summer School) will finally be implemented at the end of August 2015 (more info here: http://iouco.tumblr.com/)

The participation in DISS is free of charge but the DISS-Coordination Team may decide to include a fee that in any case would not exceed of 50 euros per participant (all in depence on the expenses incurred by the project). You should arrange your travel by yourself. If you are coming from USA or EU you will need a visa to Russia (a transit visa or tourist visa is enough, you can ask in any travel agency of your country). I recommend you to take a flight to Rostov-on-Don and from there a bus to Donetsk. But also is possible to flight to Moscow or Volgograd and take a train or bus to Rostov and from there a bus to Donetsk.

We are working in different alternatives to get good accommodation at affordable price for all the participants.

If you can not participate travelling to Donetsk then you still may send us a communication (a letter or video). The DISS accept communications related to globalism, anti-fascism, peace building…but we are opened to get also videos in form of lectures on interesting topics as well.

More information about DISS can be found in our facebook group: https://www.facebook.com/groups/Donbass.Summerschool

About International Observatory of Ukrainian Conflict (IOUCO)

We are an independent network of citizens concerned about the events taking place in Ukraine. The members of the International Observatory of Ukrainian Conflict (IOUCO) understand that the so-called ” Euromaidan ” is actually a coup against the Ukrainian institutions. A coup organized and funded by U.S. and some EU countries. The coup placed in Kiev an illegitimate Junta of extremists and impostors that have ruined the country and have surrendered Ukraine to the looting of Western corporations. The maidanite regime is committing atrocities against their own population. The regime do not hesitate to crush any discrepancies with the use of brutal violence and military force. The Observatory (IOUCO) is open to anyone interested in knowing what is happening in that tormented country. The group is not following any ideology or creed. We only follow our conscience as free people that want to live in a peaceful world without violence, war and imperialist impositions. A world without fascism and fear.

“Whom are they fighting against?” Kiev targets hospitals, schools, destroys infrastructure — why?

From Fort Russ

“Whom are they fighting against?”
By Yevdokiya Sheremetyeva (littlehiroshima)
Translated from Russian by J.Hawk

In every town and city of the Donbass where we deliver aid, and we deliver it in a targeted manner, to specific houses, apartments, bomb shelters, cafeterias, we hear many stories. At first they are confused, but then something snaps. They start talking and talking. And the stories repeat themselves. I stopped becoming surprised by them. Only for many those are still “untruths” and “distortions,” propaganda.
So here are a few stories from the “civvies”, as the military calls them. And facts from village heads and city administrations.
This is everywhere, you hear? Every place we visited, we were told that when the National Guard and UAF arrived, they targeted the infrastructure for destruction. Please, try to convince me they were defending their land from Russian invaders.

Georgiyevka: The only two kindergartens, Kolosok and Beryozka, and two schools were bombed to bits. The village council was destroyed at point-blank range with incendiary shells. Experts later described munitions used to the head of the village council Yelena Nikolayevna Nikitina.
The former Georgiyevka village council building.

They bombed the cannery, they shot the metal-working shop to bits with rifle fire. The furniture factory was destroyed, all of its equipment was looted, and whatever could not be moved they burned. The metalloplastics plant was destroyed. They crushed gas lines with tanks. When they were asked “why?”, they replied, “you don’t need it.”
Nobody can understand why they crushed a children’s playground with a tank.
Various people told me that the National Guard told the locals “our sheds are nicer than your homes,” “why are you living so poorly?”. Yelena Nikolayevna: “They have no idea whatsoever where they are fighting.”
The Aidar Battalion looted family belongings by the truckload. One woman told me they took away everything from her home, down to spoons. It’s too horrible to even talk about the destruction in Khryashchevatoye and Novosvetlovka. Whole streets are in ruins. They gathered the people all in one place, then went off to loot.
I already wrote about Pervomaysk, but will repeat myself: Hospital No. 2 took five direct hits, including one to the children’s section. No Novorossia units were even in the district. The hospital was targeted on purpose.
Hospital No. 2 in Pervomaysk:

Hospital No. 1 no longer exists, it was totally demolished, only the bomb shelter exists which is now used to house people.
The obstetrics ward was struck by shells three times.
They shelled cafeterias. One shell fell short–it penetrated two top stories in an apartment building adjacent to the cafeteria, so the cafeteria survived.
The town’s best school, No. 6, was shelled four (!) times. It’s damaged beyond repair.
Schools No. 1 and No.2 were shelled three times, so they suffered less.
Pervomaysk School No. 1. The patched up howitzer shell whole where the blackboard used to hang.

The town council was shelled four times–8 direct hits. Technical College No. 31, Technical Schools No. 74 and No. 39, Alenkiy Tsvetochek kindergarten–all destroyed. Two hits to the medical school. Yunost sports complex–the roof penetrated in three places. The first hit was in September, and it was repaied by December. The next hit came right after the repairs were completed.
The kindergarten for handicapped children–destroyed.
The paramedics building was repaired for a long time, but as soon as the repairs were complete it was hit again.
The post office was shelled twice. Direct hits.
Four central heating boiler rooms are damaged, one beyond repair.
First aid clinic–destroyed.
The most important enterprise in the city, Burtsekh–destroyed.
The high pressure gas distribution station, out in the open field, burned out completely. There is nothing even remotely close that would qualify as a military target.
Nearly all the buildings in the city were damaged to some degree. Many were wiped off the face of the Earth.

No Novorossia units were near any of these buildings.
In other words, the buildings were targeted on purpose in order to destroy the city’s infrastructure. They specifically aimed at them. They shelled hospitals, schools, kindergartens, gas distribution centers.
Nearly all water wells in Chernukhino were poisoned. The locals described how the UAF “poured diesel fuel into them.”
–But why? What for?
–God only knows.
Somebody tell me why the Lugansk Geriatric Retirement Home for the Veterans of War and Labor, where there are 250 elderly people, 170 of whom are bedridden and thus can’t be evacuated, was shelled?
The home is in a forest, no Novorossia units even close, so you can’t say they were returning fire.
Why poison wells, crush playgrounds with tanks, shell hospitals and kindergartens?
WHY?
FOR WHAT?
Whom are they fighting against?
